Just making the last improvements to my new shop in the courtyard of The Old Granary at Battlesbridge Antique and Craft Centre.

A much bigger space in a fantastic location right on the banks of the river Crouch. With views over the river and a cosy self-contained teaching and retail space there will soon be lots more fabric to choose from.

Lots more room for sewing lessons, fabric and haberdashery, all at very competitive prices.
Everything on sale is price-matched to EBay so you’ll never be intentionally over-charged.

New 8 week evening course for those of you who are unable to attend during the day...

Starts Tuesday 9th November 7.00-9.30 at St John’s, Outwood Common Road, Billericay, CM11 2LE

SEWING MACHINE SKILLS. Suitable for beginners and improvers. You will learn how to use a sewing machine and sew samples of many of the skills needed to make clothes.
Beginners will work mainly on cotton fabrics. Improvers will be able to increase their skills by working on stretch, corduroy and chiffon.

CLOTHESMAKING. You will be able to make a garment of your choice from a commercial pattern with an emphasis on better fit and expert sewing and finishing techniques. This course is suitable for those who have already learnt basic sewing machine skills.

£180, 8 weeks starting 9/11/21, finishing 18/1/22
