📚 NEW Homework & Study Clubs – Launching this September! 🎉

I’m really excited to be launching my new Homework & Study Clubs from my new premises at 58 Chapel Street, Billericay!

Designed for Quilters Junior School children, these small-group sessions will help take the stress out of homework while building confidence in English and Maths.

With a maximum of 6 children per group, each child will receive plenty of individual support from a qualified teacher in a calm, friendly learning environment.

If your child doesn’t have homework that week, we’ll make the most of the session with educational games and additional learning activities, so every session is worthwhile.

✨NEW Year 4 11+ Club – Launching this September! ✨

I’m so excited to be launching my brand-new Year 4 11+ Club from my new premises at 58 Chapel Street, Billericay!

Starting 11+ preparation in Year 4 gives children the opportunity to build strong foundations in a fun, supportive environment, without the pressure of last-minute preparation.

With a maximum of 8 children per group, every child will receive individual support from a qualified teacher, alongside access to some exciting new technology!

✨ Every child will have their own Kindle to use during the session.
✨ Personalised learning using CENTURY.
✨ 24/7 access to CENTURY at home.
✨ Parent login to monitor progress.
✨ Weekly homework and end-of-term progress reports.
✨ Children will be walked safely to Quilters Junior School after each session.

📅 Tuesday or Thursday mornings (one session per week)

📣 11+ Creative Writing Workshop (CSSE Preparation)

Last-minute spaces available over the Easter holidays! 🐣✍️

I’m pleased to offer a 3-hour Creative Writing Workshop for Year 5 children preparing for the CSSE 11+ exam.

🕘 Time: 9:00am – 12:00pm

These sessions are carefully structured to build confidence in writing across a range of topics, as this is something many children find challenging.

During the workshop, we will:
• Help children generate ideas and feel comfortable approaching any given topic
• Explore different genres of writing, allowing them to develop their own style while learning how to adapt when needed
• Learn how to improve their work using figurative language techniques such as similes, metaphors, and rich descriptive language

Sessions are kept small (maximum of 6 children) to ensure each child receives individual support and guidance.

📅 Limited spaces remaining on:
• Monday, 30th March
• Tuesday, 31st March
• Friday, 10th April

Thus superstar 🤩 needed a little bit of help with their homework this week. We used colours 🌈 to make sure we identified the same vertex on both shapes. This helped us to ensure we counted the squares ◼ correctly to describe the translation.

This legend did such a good job and I am so proud of them! ❤️
