Our students, both new and returning, explored the quiet sophistication of elegant figures. From the flowing lines of evening gowns to the sharp silhouettes of tailored suits, they refined their technique with semi-abstract forms.

Through soft lines, colour harmony and delicate blending, they evoked elegance and poise while capturing textures and subtle details. The results are simply stunning!

Returning students took on the challenge of figure-drawing, stepping into the vibrant world of the circus!
Using a limited palette of coloured pencils, they learned how to create stunning, realistic skin tones and captured the skills of the circus. Inspired by the graceful Pierrot, they brought to life a performer set against a dynamic circus tent backdrop, all while maintaining focus on the subject and achieving depth in the composition.

Returning students, you tackled the serene winter scene this week! They skilfully used coloured pencils to create rich, glossy depth, balancing positive and negative spaces for a stunning composition. Their use of non-realistic hues and layering techniques truly brought this snowy woodland to life.
