Wanlockhead Community and Outdoor Centre is situated in the former primary school in the village of Wanlockhead, on the B797 road between Leadhills and Sanquhar. The Centre is available throughout the year for use as a community centre by the residents of the village and is also hired out as an outdoor centre for groups of up to 24 people. a and both ladies and gents toilets and showers (3 ladies showers and 2 boys showers) There is also a disabled shower room and disabled toilet. Users must provide sheets or sleeping bags for their own use and will require to erect and dismantle their own beds. Crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment are provided. There is a fridge, freezer, oven, hob and microwave. Cooking and lighting are by electricity. There is oil central heating.
