✨ Classroom upgrades! ✨

It’s been a busy couple of weeks!

Since the summer hols I’ve had my sliding door and new window fitted, then Ben and I have painted the walls (the back ones need a bit more work before they could be painted) and then I’ve spent hours today cleaning and reorganising ten years worth of resources 🤯🤩

I’ve made a separate resource room to declutter the main classroom and it feels so zen now! A MASSIVE thank you to my divine mummy for helping/leading this chaos! And to Ben for doing all the groundwork yesterday moving everything out and cleaning the floors 💕👌

Next upgrades are a lovely voile curtain for the sliding door that I’ve got on order, and then the next bigger job will be to clad the ceiling and get some spotlights instead of the strip lighting.

All ready for my first official dyslexia assessment next week!

I absolutely love a treasure hunt! Made a plan of the garden this evening and hid pirate coins in various places, marked with ❌ on the map 🗺️

My daughter loved finding them all 😄

Except for a 1:1 with my fantastic 1:2 twinnies on Monday, some report writing and a dyslexia assessment 😍

I have a few more summer slots for diagnostic dyslexia assessments - pm me for more info. Minimum age is 8 years old.

We went to the secret beach in English and worked on the Woman in Black, analysing an extract of the second time Arthur sees the WiB and then creating a floor plan of Eel Marsh House in the sand using evidence from the text 🥰 I then read the next chapter to them on the walk back to TTHQ
