1. I am bilingual French/English
2. I worked as a lifeguard whilst at college
3. My first car was a Fiat Uno
4. I had 10cm of random bits of bone removed from my right arm last year
5. I have a bit of an OCD thing going on with plug sockets being switched on when there is no plug in them
6. I love the smell of washing powder more than perfume/aftershave
7. My favourite breed of dog is a Belgian Shepherd Malinois

This little Counting Kid is the reason these classes are here in North Devon. Before she came along I was head long into achieving my ambition of becoming a head teacher. I had an assistant head job that I loved, everything was good.

Then she arrived - daughter number 2.

My oldest daughter was about to start primary school, and I wanted to be there to pick her up. Adding in a 1 year old to feed, dress and get to childcare each morning made me stop and think about what I wanted. I spent long days (and nights) putting other people’s children first and that didn’t feel fair on my girls (please remember that when teachers strike 😬).

So I took the decision to step out of school teaching and set up classes for preschoolers and their parents in North Devon! It was definitely the right decision for my young family - and best of all - I have had the pleasure of meeting hundreds of other young families who are giving their children a head start with numeracy and literacy.

Counting Kids and Phonics with Robot Reg are waiting to give your child the confidence and knowledge to fly at school. Come and join us in a class.

We explore counting, numeral recognition, patterns, shapes, space, measure and so much more! Everything is fun, high energy and play based!
