Yesterday marked Kingsley School’s annual inter-house drama competition.

Students from Years 7–13 across all four houses took to the stage, competing for trophies and recognition. The afternoon was a fantastic opportunity for both seasoned performers and first-timers to experience the excitement of performing under the lights, supported by an encouraging audience.

I couldn’t be more proud of everyone who stepped outside their comfort zone and discovered the joy of performing. Well done to each and every one of you!

Music students at Kingsley were delighted to welcome professional guitarist Jules Moberly for a special performance workshop. The session offered students a valuable opportunity to experience live demonstrations while gaining expert insight into the art of performance. Throughout the workshop, students explored ways to refine their technique, deepen their musical interpretation, and develop confident stage presence. Jules shared practical advice and demonstrated key skills that contribute to delivering a compelling and polished performance. We are extremely grateful to Jules for delivering such an inspiring and informative session. The workshop was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended, and due to its success, we look forward to welcoming him back to Kingsley for a future practical guitar workshop.
