🌟 The Tweenies Room is officially opening! 🌟

We’re so excited to share that our brand-new Tweenies Room is finally ready! 🥰

This week we’re having our soft launch, with a number of settling sessions taking place throughout the week, starting Tuesday. 💛

We know it’s taken a little longer than we originally expected, but we’re so pleased to have everything finished and ready to welcome our wonderful one-year-olds just in time for the new term! 🎉

We can’t wait to see them explore their new space, make new friends and enjoy all the exciting opportunities the Tweenies Room has to offer. 🧸✨

A little update from us 💛

You may have noticed that our social media has been a little quieter recently, so we wanted to let you know where we’ve been!

A few weeks ago, we shared with our nursery families that we had made the decision to go faceless on our social media channels as part of our ongoing safeguarding priorities. This decision was met with lots of support and understanding from our families, which we really appreciated. 💛

With AI tools developing so quickly and the increasing difficulty of being able to fully vet everyone who can access, view, save or interact with content shared online, we feel that our children’s safety has to come first.

This is not a decision we have made lightly. We know how much our local community loves seeing what the children are learning, exploring and enjoying, and we absolutely love sharing those special moments with you too.

We will still be here! 🌿

✨ Little snippets of the children’s accomplishments and achievements

We’ll continue to share the wonderful things happening at Happy Hours — just without images of the children.

We’ll also continue sharing photos and updates with our nursery families through our nursery app, where we can keep these moments within our nursery community.

🎓✨ GRADUATION 2026 ✨🎓

Today was one of those days that reminds me exactly why we do what we do. ❤️

Today we celebrated our amazing Preschool children as they prepare to head off on their next adventure at big school!

They sang, danced and performed their hearts out before taking to the stage one by one to collect their certificates. And, of course, we couldn’t let them leave without finding out what they would like to be when they grow up…

We had police officers, firefighters, footballers, popstars, cleaners, lawyers, nail techs, mummy's… and my personal favourite 'Bug Man!'.

It was honestly so lovely to see just how confident they all were. Not only hearing their big dreams and aspirations, but watching them proudly wave at their families in the crowd, searching for those familiar faces and sharing their special moment with the people who mean the most to them.

Every year, saying goodbye seems to get that little bit harder. Every child leaves behind so many memories, little moments, funny stories and pieces of themselves that become part of the Happy Hours story.

But amongst the sadness of saying goodbye, there is also so much comfort in knowing that they are ready. Ready for new adventures, new friendships, new challenges and everything that big school has waiting for them.

So, whilst today might feel like a farewell for now, I hope every single one of our graduates knows that they will always be part of our Happy Hours family. Once a Happy Hours child, always a Happy Hours child.

To our incredible families, thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your children, for allowing us to be part of their journey and for sharing all of these precious years with us. It is a privilege that we never take for granted.

And to our Preschool children…

Go and be amazing. Dream big. Be kind. Be brave. Be YOU.

We are so incredibly proud of you.

Now go and show that big school exactly what you’re made of. 🎓❤️

It's not very often we say we have spaces for babies, but looking forward to the new term - we have some availability for Under 2's at nursery.
Due to the opening of our Tweenies room combined with lots of little ones getting ready for their transition into Toddlers we can now open our books again and invite you in to take a look around.

Remember, we offer lots of settling sessions so it's a good idea to come and see us sooner rather than later to get your little one settled in and ready to go.

📢 We’re proud to share that we are now a Prem Aware Setting! 📢

We have been awarded this accreditation in recognition of our commitment to understanding the long-term educational and health needs of children born prematurely.

The Prem Aware Award, created by The Smallest Things, helps schools and early years settings better understand how premature birth can impact a child’s development, learning, and wellbeing as they grow.

With around 2–3 children in every classroom having been born prematurely, this training is an important step in ensuring every child receives the support and understanding they deserve.

Becoming a Prem Aware Setting reflects our dedication to inclusive practice, professional development, and working closely with families to help every child thrive.

We are proud to be part of a growing network of settings across the UK making a difference for children born too soon 💜
