Hi everyone, just a polite reminder to please give 24 hours notice if cancelling a lesson. In my terms and conditions it does clearly state that lessons cancelled on the day must still be paid for and I've had quite a number of parents cancel on the day recently and not pay for the missed lesson.

The reason I ask for 24 hours is to be able to give that session to a student who may be able to come at a different time. A lot of tutors charge more than I do and insist on their fees being paid monthly. I don't want to do this, I want to remain as flexible as I can be without charging an unreasonable fee. I've always said I would only charge what I would pay and I would appreciate everyone reading the terms and conditions.

From next week cancellations made on the day of the lesson which haven't been paid for will be cancelled completely and the session given to a student on my waiting list.

I have just spoken to the police and there will be a police presence along the Biddulph Valley Way today, but I do urge my female students who are coming to the classroom on foot to please stay where you are visible and where you can access a house if you feel that you are being followed. If you have long please tuck it into your coats and be aware of your surroundings, and not on your phones or have headphones on.

Attackers generally pursue girls and women who are not paying attention, or are distracted by their phones. Keep something handy like a small bottle of hairspray or spray deodorant in your pockets. Personal alarms are useful too. If walking home from school/college please ensure you have live 360 or send a parent your location and also where possible walk in groups.

***IMPORTANT***

To all my local female students both past and present - in light of the incident that took place in Knypersley this morning, please know that my classroom is a safe space. If you are feeling threatened, you think you're being followed or you just need a place to come and chill please know that you can come here.

My classroom is open:
Mondays 9am-9pm
Tuesdays 9am - 9pm
Wednesdays 2pm-9pm
Thursdays 2pm-8pm
Fridays 3pm-8pm

I'm so happy and honoured to support an amazing group of young actors!

A HUGE THANK YOU TO ElISIA GREEN TUITION!

We’d like to say a massive thank you to Elisia Green Tuition for supporting The Biddulph Halloween Experience with a very generous donation.

Your support is helping us bring a safe, fun and creative Halloween event to families in Biddulph — and every bit of support really does make a difference.

It means so much to see local businesses getting behind a brand-new community event and helping us bring the idea to life. 👻🎃

Thank you, Elisia, for helping us make Halloween a little more magical! ❤️

Come for the Halloween… stay for the community! 🎃
