PTFA SPOOKTACULAR DISCO 22/10/26

🎃THURSDAY 22nd OCTOBER🎃

🎵Join us for music, dancing, games and fun, all hosted by our fantastic DJ who ALWAYS keeps everyone entertained on the dance floor!

👍This year, we've introduced a new, easier way to pay. Payments can now be made via direct bank transfer.

💜 Nursery and Reception children will have their disco in school time and do not need to bring in any "disco" clothes, as they will be enjoying their non-uniform 'Funny Bones' dress-up day on the 22/10/26! Perfect.

👻 KS1 are welcome to bring their disco clothes or spooky costume in a named carrier bag to get changed into at the end of the school day.

🎃 KS2, we'll see you back in school in your disco clothes or spooktacular costume at 4.15pm for your frightfully fun evening!

💚Thank you for supporting our PTFA event.

🦇 See you there!

💚💜 Come and join us! 💜💚

Would you like to feel more confident in your parenting and strengthen your relationship with your child?

Why not join The Incredible Years®, an evidence-based parenting programme designed to support parents and carers of children aged 3–6 years.

Through friendly, supportive group sessions, you'll explore practical strategies to help you:

• Build a stronger, more positive relationship with your child
• Understand and respond to your child’s emotions and behaviour
• Use play and positive attention to encourage good behaviour
• Develop confidence in your parenting
• Support your child’s emotional wellbeing
• Create clear, consistent boundaries at home

There’s no judgement and no “perfect parenting” expected — just an opportunity to share experiences, learn practical ideas and discover what works for you and your family.
Refreshments provided.

Starting Tuesday 6th October
10am–12 noon
Staffordshire Moorlands Family Hub, Albert Street, Biddulph
01782 297970

Perfect Pandas have been trying really hard in their handwriting lessons this week. They are practicing the correct letter formation and how to sit properly at the desk so that our writing is lovely and neat. ✏️

Character.AI enables users to create and interact with AI-powered characters that can behave like friends, mentors, fictional characters or romantic partners.

While these tools can feel engaging and emotionally supportive, they also introduce important safeguarding, wellbeing and privacy considerations for children and young people.

Our latest guide supports parents, carers and educators in understanding the risks and opening constructive conversations around AI companionship.

The guide explores:
• Inappropriate content and unreliable advice
• Emotional dependency and blurred boundaries
• Privacy concerns linked to personal information
• Warning signs such as secretive or excessive use
• Withdrawal from real-world activities and relationships
• Practical steps around age settings, limits and reporting concerns

With clear, accessible guidance, this resource helps adults support safer, more balanced and informed use of AI character platforms.
