🌟 Exciting times at the Corby RS Area Finals! 🌟

We just wrapped up an incredible weekend at the Race to the Line Challenge, and what an event it was! A big shoutout to all the volunteers who came out and truly embraced the challenge, contributing their passion and energy to make the event a success.

To the schools Alcester Academy, Loughborough Grammar School and De Aston School well done! You all should be proud of your achievements!

Special thanks to Steve McIntyre for his outstanding hospitality and support. Your efforts helped make the event seamless and truly enjoyable for everyone involved.

A round of applause for Sharlene Forde, Thomas Barr, Sean, and Ian Hanson 🙌. Your hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, and we are so grateful for your commitment to making the event special.

It was inspiring to see our volunteers select the RS Innovation Award, recognizing the creativity and ingenuity of our young participants. These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do - fostering a love for STEM and encouraging our future innovators.

Thank you Hove Park School for being such and incredible host to The Race to the Line STEM Challenge area finals in the South East. What an incredible day!
All participants Enfield Grammar. Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, St. Bernard's High School, Patcham High School, Kemnal Technology College

The winner team, The Boys, represented Brighton Aldridge Community Academy Sport Centre won with an incredible time! Mentions to the SHLEB team, from the same school an to Patcham High, ERLL team! We had an inivation prize delivered by RS to the Hover Park team The Pelegrin Falcons who brought carbon fibre axles among other innovations, that did not win them speed but gave them knowledge and experience.

ACWA Services Limited sponsors Upper Wharfedale School !

Supporting STEM activities in schools is one of the most rewarding contributions we can make to a child’s education. The ‘Race to the Line’ STEM Challenge provides a great opportunity for students in Year 7 to bring together problem solving skills with creative thinking. Working in small teams as engineers they have to design and make the most aerodynamic rocket car possible with the resources they are given. The rocket car is then put through its paces and will hopefully secure the young engineers in the national ‘Race to the Line’ competition.

This week a couple of ACWA’s engineers are going to help judge the competition entries at Upper Wharfedale School. Good luck to all the teams and well done on your entries.
