“PED TALKS”
Ped Talks has been inspired by a lifetime of experience and learning. My name is Pedro, and I am currently 68 years old. I have lived in North Oxfordshire in the small village of Stoke Lyne, all of my life.
I have worked in a number of different professions, Fire Service, Ambulance Service and for the past twenty years as a Biodiversity Officer for the Environment Agency. I am currently working part time for the Cherwell District as a Country Parks and Woodland Project Officer.
During my early years I spent a lot of my time with my Grandparents, helping them run their small holding/back yard farm. I spent many hours learning all about animal husbandry, cheese making, basic mycology and other useful practical skills.
As a mature student I spent seven years studying, taking GCSE English and Biology, A Level Biology and a Combined Honours Degree in, ecology/palaeontology and waste management. I am now semi-retired and focusing on “Ped Talks”. I want to be able to spend some of my time passing on my skills and Knowledge.
To do this I have created a number of talks which I can deliver to anyone interested in learning something new.
