On Thursday 8th December, our Year 6 students were invited to attend a girls only sports festival at The Cooper School. The focus was to introduce girls to different sporting activities that are not normally played at primary school.

Many of our students were awarded certificates for the school game's value of self-belief. They spent 15 minutes at each of the following: Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Archery and Trampolining.

All activities were led by The Cooper School students and all of the students involved had a great time!

Last Saturday Year 4 took part in the Bicester Christmas Lights lantern parade. They made the willow lanterns in a workshop with a local artist and OYAP. The theme was warmth and togetherness.
Jay was chosen as one of the children to press the button to turn on the Lights. It was very exciting to take part alongside other local schools in the parade and everyone had a good time.
