Thank you. School and the PTA.
On Thursday 8th December, our Year 6 students were invited to attend a girls only sports festival at The Cooper School. The focus was to introduce girls to different sporting activities that are not normally played at primary school.
Many of our students were awarded certificates for the school game's value of self-belief. They spent 15 minutes at each of the following: Basketball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Archery and Trampolining.
All activities were led by The Cooper School students and all of the students involved had a great time!
Santa Fun Run - Hopefully all children have been busy collecting sponsorships for our Santa Fun Run on Friday 16th December - raising funds for Helen and Douglas House. All children will need to come to school in their PE kit and will be given a Santa hat to wear on the day. Last year we raised an incredible £3500 - let's see how we do this year. Thank you for your continued support.
Thank you to all parents and carers that came to the Year 1's performance of the Big Little Nativity. The children really enjoyed performing to you and are buzzing with excitement this morning (although they are a little bit tired!) Thank you for all of your support with learning lines and providing costumes. Year 1 team.
Thank you to all of the children who contributed to the collection for Nai's House. We raised an incredible £300 and this was collected by a representative of the charity last week. Well done everyone.
