I have a rare day off so I should be creating some engaging content to remind people that I'm still tutoring through the summer holidays!

But as most of you already know, I'm rubbish at social media and got side tracked by this! 🤦‍♀️

I scored far too many for my liking.
So now I've given away my age, I should probably put the phone down and get back to something I'm good at... planning engaging maths sessions! 😂👩‍🏫

It's been an emotional couple of weeks, saying goodbye to my Year 11s, especially as some have been with me for many years now!

I am so very proud of you all. You have all worked so hard to nail those tricky topics and put in so much effort in preparation for your exams.

It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of your journey. I hope you all have an amazing summer!

I had a really heart warming encounter at the local shop recently. A previous student's mum called me over saying "look at what you've done!" He was in his graduation cape and they had been busy celebrating his graduation! 🎓
I was flattered that they wanted to share the news with me, and even more so when they both thanked me for my part in it. 🥰

Well, it's certainly been a busy summer! 😌

We've covered IGCSEs, GCSEs and the 11+ as well as the rest of the Key Stages! 📝

We've tackled some tricky topics, worked on reasoning skills, talked about exam techniques and most importantly had lots of fun! 🎲🧩

It's been a pleasure to receive so many messages from happy parents and happy students after GCSE results day - everyone did brilliantly! ❤️👏

And just like that we are back at the start of a shiny new school year! 🌟

I'm taking a few days off now to spend with family... but I'm looking forward to welcoming you all back soon!
