🙇🏽♂️Our children with ADHD need a different approach to keep them motivated and engaged.
A bored ADHD brain will turn off and be distracted.

Thank a Teacher UK
Today is National Children's Day UK and it is an annual celebration that aims to discuss the importance of a healthy childhood. It is a great opportunity for practitioners, carers, and parents alike to raise awareness and open discussions on things that are important in childhood.
For the theme is kindness, including the biology of unkindness, celebrating diversity and the lifelong benefits of kindness amongst many more.
"As a childcare practitioner one of the lessons you will naturally encourage within the children in your care is how to be kind. Children are naturally inclined to feel empathy towards others but sometimes their young minds may not see the bigger picture and they may not realise that certain behaviours are not acceptable or are ‘unkind’. As their childcare provider there are many things you can do to promote kindness in your setting."
We hear from practitioners Anne and Pat who share their experience of promoting kindness to children in our recent blog here - www.pacey.org.uk/news-and-views/pacey-blog/2022/may-2022/blog-promoting-kindness-in-your-setting-for-natio/

Have a lovely week
We have had a child test positive today with Covid. They were in on THURSDAY and therefore if your child was in Thursday am they may have came into contact. Please can you continue to test your children. We are in contact with public health and will update you with any changes we need to make. Please can I ask all collecting and dropping to wear masks, unless exempt and to wash hands/sanitise after touching gates etc.
Covid cases
I am sorry to say that we have had another member of staff that has received a positive result to Covid. To keep parents up to date we will be posting on here, the open Facebook group and website blog. If your child was in today or the last couple of days they may have come into close contact with someone with Covid. We are all testing daily (if not twice a day) and have been for some time now. We would advise regular testing at home, and ask for you to follow government guidelines and isolate if positive. Please let me know if any child gets a positive result.
Staff have been cleaning constantly and are wearing masks as much as possible, inside also!
Some of the Symptoms staff have shown are buzzing or itching ears, blocked nose, tired, achey, headache, minor cough, blocked throat, foggy head. Symptoms are not always the typical temperature and cough often spoken about in the media. Loosing sense of smell and taste can be a symptom, but not something staff have experienced so far I believe.
Testing your children is not nice. I must admit I am very thankful we can now do these at home instead of at a walk in centre etc. However, I would suggest testing before next week begins incase anyone becomes positive over the weekend.
We wish everyone well and are doing all we can to end this spike. We have been very lucky to till now and are working hard to get back to it!
Take care all
Most definitely lol
🤣🙋♀️
We have had some staff test positive for Covid. I would advise that you test your children. If anyone tests positive, please do not bring them into preschool. If parents/carers test positive - please can you test your children each day to ensure they are negative if coming into preschool

When you eat fruit, do not throw seeds in the garbage pipeline. Wash and dry them. Put them in a box and leave it in the car. When you are on the way, throw through the window in places where there are no trees. Nature will take care of them itself. In Asian countries, this practice has existed for centuries. That's why now their fruits grow everywhere. ♥️♥️
