Government funded hours childcare support: Final weeks for parents to apply for their childcare code for September
Childcare Choices is a cross-government campaign that aims to make more parents aware of the financial support on offer to help them with the cost of childcare and to understand the offers in more detail.
The Department for Education (DfE) is reminding eligible working parents in England making childcare arrangements for September that they need to apply by 31 August for:
15 hours childcare for their child aged 9 months old until they turn 3 years old
30 hours childcare for their 3 or 4 year old
We would be grateful for your support to help parents understand the support available to them, as well as how and when to apply. The DfE has provided key messaging and resources in the newly revised Childcare Choices toolkit: Guidance and resources | Childcare Choices.
Parents should visit gov.uk to get their code for a place in September and then share it with their childcare provider. Parents are encouraged to speak to their provider to find out more about their arrangements. They will have to renew their code every three months through their gov.uk childcare account to continue to receive the government support.
To learn more and check their eligibility, parents should visit the Childcare Choices website where they can see at a glance all of the support available: Childcare Choices | 30 Hours Free Childcare, Tax-Free Childcare and More | Help with Costs | GOV.UK

World Autism Awareness Day
At Jack and Jills we are given the opportunity and pleasure to meet and share in the lives of you and your children. Every child we meet is different, have a different smile, character and special cheeky way, each see and experience the world a little differently, but we love them all. To say we accept all children does not even cut it. We love each little one, regardless of the needs and challenges your children, you and us face.
We will continue to fight for your child to receive the best start to life and the best chance to succeed and be happy on their transitioning journey into school.
I hope that one day our schools will become more inclusive, better meeting the needs of our children, and therefore I ask you today to come together, show others they are not alone.
Today we focus on sharing stories and providing opportunities to increase understanding and acceptance of those with autism x
Sending love and cuddles to all

Parking- please do not park outside preschool blocking the zig zag lines, as we are finding cars then driving around you and not looking for people crossing at the zebra crossing.
If you need to drive into the car park, due to mobility issues etc, please wait until all children have gone into preschool and parents have left the car park prior to driving in.
Parents can you please watch children closely in the car park as the church do also have access to this car park and can drive in any time to use the disabled space.
Thank you for your understanding x
