Are you looking for a nursery place for your 2, 3 or 4 year old?

Come and explore Beverley Manor Nursery School at our Open Day tomorrow, Saturday 12 September, 10am to 12 noon.

We have limited spaces available for immediate starts and are now enrolling for January 2027.

Come and meet our staff, explore our newly refreshed learning environment and find out what makes Beverley Manor Nursery School such a special place for children to learn, play and grow.

No need to book. Just pop in. A very warm welcome awaits!

We’ve been busy over the summer holidays…

It’s under wraps for now, but here’s a little sneak peek at what’s been happening inside nursery. We can’t wait for you to see it properly!

Nursery reopens on Wednesday 9th September.

New starters are invited to join us from 9.00–10.00am, with all returning children welcomed back at 10.30am.

Please remember there will be no Breakfast Club on Wednesday morning.

✨ That's a wrap! ✨

Our nursery may be completely empty, with the rooms stripped back ready for new flooring and a fresh new look, but our hearts are so full. 💛

As another wonderful year comes to an end, we would like to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing families for your beautiful cards, thoughtful gifts, kind words and well wishes. Your support means so much to us.

It has been an absolute privilege to be part of your children's learning journey. To our children moving on to school, we are incredibly proud of each and every one of you. Watching you grow in confidence, curiosity and independence has been a joy. We know you'll continue to shine as you begin your next exciting chapter, and we wish you every happiness and success at school. We know your families are just as proud as we are. 🌟

We wish all of our families a wonderful, relaxing summer break filled with fun, laughter and special memories.

We look forward to welcoming our younger cohort back on Wednesday 9th September at 10:30am. This slightly later start will allow us to give our new starters a calm and gentle welcome to nursery from 9:00am

This Week at Beverley Manor Nursery School

It's hard to believe we've reached the final week of another wonderful school year! As we prepare to say goodbye to many of our oldest children and wish them every success as they begin their exciting new adventures at school, we have a week full of special celebrations.

🌼 Leavers' Garden Parties

Monday 3pm – Architects
Tuesday 3pm – Artists
Wednesday 3pm – Engineers
Thursday 3pm – Botanists

Families are warmly invited to join us for their child's celebration at the allocated time.

🌼 Parents' Evening Drop In
Wednesday 15th July | 4.00pm – 5.30pm

An informal opportunity to spend time in nursery, celebrate your child's year and chat with staff before the summer holidays.

🌼 Family Hub Drop In
Marie from the Family Hub will be joining us on Wednesday from 3.30pm – 4.00pm. Please pop along if you would like to find out more about the support and activities available for families.

🌼 Last Day of Term
Friday marks the end of another fantastic year at Beverley Manor Nursery School. We would like to thank all of our children, families and friends for your continued support throughout the year and wish everyone a happy, safe and relaxing summer break.

The challenge was simple: How many oranges are there?

Before counting, the children made their own estimates, explaining why they thought there were "about ten", "more than twenty" or "lots!" They then worked together to organise the oranges, count carefully and check whether their predictions were correct.

Activities like this develop counting, estimating, one to one correspondence and mathematical vocabulary, while encouraging children to explain their ideas and learn from one another.

Outdoor play provides endless opportunities to build strength in meaningful ways. Climbing, swinging and balancing help children develop the muscles they need for everyday tasks, from holding a pencil to getting dressed independently. As children challenge themselves, they also learn to take risks, solve problems and persevere when things feel difficult.

🎨 Getting creative...

There's no right or wrong way to paint.

Some children carefully choose their colours, others enjoy seeing what happens when they mix them together. Some make bold brush marks, while others work slowly and thoughtfully.

At nursery, we value the experience as much as the finished picture. As children paint, they're developing confidence, strengthening the muscles they need for writing, making choices and expressing their own ideas.

Every painting is different, and that's exactly how it should be. 💚
