Albert Einstein said, “If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.” Fairy tales stimulate their imaginations and encourage critical thinking, not to mention presenting them with moral dilemmas, allowing kids to think about right and wrong, thereby learning valuable life lessons!

Happy Chinese New Year 2025! The Year of the Snake begins today and lasts until 16th February, the start of the Chinese Spring celebrations and symbolising the end of winter ☺️ The Snake Year represents renewal and regeneration; a year of transformations and new beginnings 🙂 A great addition to the fact that this year is a perfect square number 😉
Now is the perfect time to help build your child’s confidence in their Maths or English skills to prepare for their exams and tests this summer.

I’m sure many of you will agree that 2024 has passed incredibly quickly! It has certainly been a challenging one for me but pleased to say that all my students are reaping the rewards of their hard work 🙂 Hoping your year is ending on a positive note too and you’re looking forward to 2025!

A lovely activity for all children as they return to school is to observe the Maths in nature. The sunflower is a wonderful example of perfect symmetry and the pattern sequence of hundreds of tiny star shaped flowers 🙂
