The Little House

Sorry we have been so quiet recently, we hope you are all well and are looking forward to getting back to some kind of normality.

We are sad to say that unfortunately we wont be working from the little house any longer due to the property going up for sale, however we are still working as childminders from our own houses.
We have been busy over lockdown getting our houses ready for the little ones and have enjoyed our first few weeks at home, although we cannot wait for the go ahead so we can get together for a play date 🥳🥳

We would like to thank eveyone who has used the little house for their childcare and all the amazing support we have had from you all along the way ❤️

Public Health England have asked all educational settings to make parents aware of the up to date information regarding the Coronavirus.
We will have this poster available within the setting for all parents to view as required.
We will be continuing to encourage good personal hygiene skills and regular hand washing and will use hand sanitiser when out with the children.

We have had such a fun January 😍
We've had a few new friends join the Little House and the children have made sure they feel very welcome and at home ❤️

Thoroughly enjoyed the play group Christmas party this morning 🎉🎄🤶🎅 I think the children enjoyed it too 😉 we are all definitely in the festive spirit now! Ali at long riston always does an amazing job, she spends so much time and effort towards the play group and it really pays off!! 💛

We are closed for Christmas from Friday 20th of December and will reopen on Monday 6th if January!⛄️🎁🎄⛄️🎁⛄️

A busy start to the week with a play session at the childrens centre, play dough, Simon says, creating fireworks using paint in the tuff tray and lots more 😍😍
Theo and I have enjoyed a couple of 'back to work days' this week covering Kerry whilst she was on her First Aid training, Thank you to all the children for being so lovely to Theo and helping him enjoy his first days at the Little House ❤️

We love listening to their little conversations at breakfast time😍 -making relationships -Health and self care

We spent some time at the pumpkin patch this morning, we spoke about the differences between all the pumpkins, size, colour, shapes and textures, we also counted lots of pumpkins and paid the lovely lady so we could take some home with us 🎃 we are very excited to carve our pumpkins later this week!

We tried a new playgroup today in long riston, it was a little boys birthday there so we had some party food and sang happy birthday to him 🎂🎉🎶 there were lots of toys to explore and we really enjoyed the story and singing session at the end 👏😊
