Today marks , and throughout the day we will be raising awareness of this severe illness. Sepsis is a time-critical condition, arising when the body’s response to an infection injures its own tissues and organs. It’s serious stuff, and here at HUTH we have a fantastic team ready and prepared to deal with situations relating to sepsis. Headed up by Dr Kate Adams and Specialist Nurse Donna Gotts, they work hard every day to raise awareness and help staff take care of our patients. We’re so proud of our team and all of the work they do, they really are remarkable!
