South Dalton Playgroup / Preschool We are a small rural preschool with an emphasis on the highest standards of care. We have 20 spaces available we operate Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

​We are a small rural preschool with an emphasis on the highest standards of care. We have 20 spaces available and we operate Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9am - 2pm during term time. We currently have free 2, 3 and 4 year old funded places available. We have excellent outdoor facilities which we can access each day whatever the weather. The emphasis is on nature and the outdoors. Indoors we have an extensive range of stimulating, challenging and engaging equipment and resources. We are fortunate to have access to the beautiful village of South Dalton, where we regularly go for walks through the park, having support from local farmers and other local businesses. Our priority is to provide the highest standards of service to the children in our care.

Permanent part- time manager of an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ preschool for children from two years to school age.

To start as soon as possible.
Competitive rate of pay offered.

Essential criteria:

*minimum of Level 3 full and relevant childcare qualification
* sound knowledge of EYFS
*2 years recent workplace experience in manager/deputy position

Desirable criteria:

* current paediatric First Aid certificate
* current safeguarding certificate
* current/ transferable DBS

South Dalton Playgroup committee are looking for an enthusiastic long-term member of staff who is dedicated, hard working and can manage a small, friendly team of staff. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the setting and will be included in the adult-child ratios. You will need to be able to use your initiative and creativity to challenge, motivate and improve outcomes for all of the children in our care, including those with SEN.

Employment is subject to enhanced DBS, suitability and reference checks and eligibility to work in the UK.
