This week, we took 7 teams to Newcastle College and had a fantastic time taking part in the Unearthed LEGO Challenge. The children designed and built their own archaeology dig sites using their imagination, teamwork and brilliant LEGO building skills. They also created a poster to tell the judges about their creation.
We are so proud of everyone's creativity, enthusiasm and hard work throughout the challenge.

This term, the children in EYFS and KS1 have loved spending time exploring and learning in the natural world around them. 🌿
From searching for insects, plants, and signs of wildlife around our school grounds to taking part in the Nature Explorer competition, the children have shown such curiosity and enthusiasm for nature. They created some wonderful nature-inspired posters and should all feel very proud of their fantastic efforts. Well done to all of our Nature Explorers! 🐜🐝🍃
In Fabulous Flamingos, the children have been developing their sculpting skills by creating beautiful Amazon-inspired leaves. Using etching tools carefully, they added texture and detail to bring their creations to life. 🍃✨
The children have also been busy creating frog ponds within our natural area. We are looking forward to checking them regularly over the coming weeks and are very excited to see if any frogspawn appears soon! 🐸💚

Special Mention to Amelia

Huge congratulations to Amelia on completing all the tasks needed to earn her licence to race in Shetland Grandland! 🏇✨
Amelia successfully completed 2 rounds: one in pairs and one in the one in sixes-showing fantastic competitive spirit throughout. She demonstrated a great bond with her pony and rode with confidence, care, and sensible judgement every step of the way.
This is such a brilliant achievement and a real testament to all the hard work, dedication, and commitment Amelia has put in. We are all so proud of you and can’t wait to see what comes next on your racing journey! 👏🐴

A huge well done to Evy for representing her gymnastics club with such pride and determination! 🌟
After a full day competing at Wigan for the regional qualifier, she absolutely smashed it-bringing home GOLD for her club and SILVER for her individual performance! 🥇🥈
But more than the medals, it’s that biggest, brightest smile that says it all. We are so proud of you, Evy—what an incredible achievement! 🤩👏
