With great sadness, we said goodbye last week to one of our beloved teachers, Mrs Nicola Dixon. She was a cornerstone of our school teaching staff for nearly 39 years during which she gave so many pupils the most wonderful start at TCMS. We all miss her so very much.
At our Staff Reunion on Friday 10th July we all raised our glasses to a wonderful person.
Today we are holding an Open Afternoon at Tweedmouth Community Middle School starting at 2pm. Doors will close promptly at 6pm. It is an opportunity to have a last look around before our doors close permanently on Friday 17th July.
We will have an open Book of Remberance for Mrs Dixon so that everyone can pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived. We do hope you will be able to come in and sign it.

On Friday it was our last Competitive Sports Day. All pupils put in so much effort to earn points for their houses.
Pupils competed in field events in the morning and the whole school cheered the track events in the afternoon.
It really was a fantastic atmosphere.
Well done to Fleming for being the top point scorers 🏆

A massive thank you to Dougie!

Dougie has been delivering rugby at TCMS and within our local community for a number of years now. Not only has he had a massive influence on improving the skill set of pupils and staff; he is always reminding us all that everyone can be a rugby player. Particularly this year when we had 200 girls participating in rugby festivals.

We didn't get our last rugby festival due to poor weather but we couldn't let you go without saying a massive thank you and goodbye! All the best, Dougie - keep sharing your words of wisdom.
