Wraparound Childcare Manager

We are looking for a wraparound manager at one of our clubs at a local school.
Do you have a passion for working with children?
Are you fun, outgoing, silly and a big kid at heart? Experienced enough to manage a team, children, and the daily running of a wraparound club? Our children’s safety and well being is our top priority.

Details of the role

You will be responsible for the daily running of the wraparound provision. Keeping the children safe while having lots of fun. Termly planning of activities and preparing light meals.
Team management training and rotas
Daily and monthly risk assessments
Fire marshal and monthly fire test drills
Food preparation and hygiene
Daily dairies and attendance registers
Accident reports
Cleaning of equipment and the setting after each Session
Manage infection control.

Skills and Requirements

Experience in a supervisory/managerial position within a childcare setting is essential.
Minimum level 2 qualification in childcare
Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid trained essential (can be renewed and updated with us)
Willing to undertake mandatory training with us for the following.
Food Hygiene Level 2
Infection prevention control
Food hygiene level 2 desirable or willing to take training with us.
DBS compliant
Can communicate and liaise with all third partied including parents, staff schools and other agencies.
Hours
Breakfast Club 7:15 am – 9am
After School Club 3pm – 6:15pm

Benefits & salary

Pay is £10.50 to £12.5 per hour depending on skills and experience.
Term time only
Uniform provided.

We can’t believe that Gold Key Breakfast Club is 1 year old already.
Thank you so much to everyone that has supported us & helped in the last year.
We miss the children so much.

Job role - assisting the current leader to set up and serve breakfast tidy up etc, play games & look after the children.
Potten End
7.30/45-8.45am Monday to Friday at our breakfast club working with 3-10 year olds.
Berkhamsted
7:30 till 8:30am Monday to Friday at our breakfast club working with 3 to 10 year olds.
Flexibility to work at both sites would be an advantage.
Start date is ASAP, pending Ofsted approval and successful DBS (criminal record check)
Interviews will be scheduled at your earliest availability.
Whilst qualifications aren’t essential you must be willing to undertake training in the following areas – Safeguarding and First Aid.
