🎉 Tomorrow is the fantastic Swing Gate Summer Fair Extravaganza! ☀️
The weather is looking perfect, and it’s set to be the ultimate family and community event of the summer! 🌞👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
Join us from 12pm–4pm for an afternoon packed with:

🥞💙 Father’s Day Breakfast! 💙🥞

On Friday, our Voles class was delighted to welcome their wonderful dads, grandads and mums to school for a special Father’s Day Breakfast.

The morning was filled with smiles, laughter, and plenty of toast as families enjoyed spending time together. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event so memorable! 💫💙

🌿🔍 Year 1 enjoyed a nature walk to Rectory Lane Cemetery today. Escaping to this peaceful idyll in the heart of town, our young explorers became nature detectives, observing wildlife, discovering hidden treasures, and learning more about the world around them. 🍃🐞🦋
What a fantastic outdoor adventure! 🌳✨

The children were fully engaged and absolutely loved the interactive presentation. It was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for reading and storytelling come to life. Thank you, Jim and for such an inspiring and memorable visit! 🌟

🌟🔧🪣 Nursery Mini Engineers at Work! 🪣🔧🌟
Yesterday, the Nursery children investigated how pulleys work, and today they extended their learning by experimenting with different ropes and buckets. 🧵🪣 Through hands-on exploration, they discovered how these simple machines can help lift and move objects more easily.
To finish their project, the children designed and created their own safety signs, thinking carefully about how to keep everyone safe while using the equipment. 🚧⚠️ What a brilliant example of problem-solving, teamwork, and creativity in action!

What a tree-mendous day at Wendover Woods! 🌳✨ Luckily the rain clouds stayed away long enough for us to enjoy our trip 😄☀️

The Year 1 children became mini artists creating natural masterpieces 🎨🍃, sharp-eyed detectives seeking out the mouse and the Gruffalo 🐭🦊, and explorers discovering all the woodland wonders around us 🔍🌲. Of course, there was plenty of time for lunch too! 🍎🥪

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing Year 1 staff, children and parents for making the day so special 💚 What fantastic memories we made together! ✨
