Last week’s FaB Lab - cheese and chive scones with dill and parsley butter. The scones are so easy and delicious that I made a batch for packed lunches this week - no complaints 🧀

Was just a tad warm in the Fab Lab kitchen today - we made a nectarine and plum crisp, then cooled down with a mango and coconut smoothie 🥭🥥

Last week we made pizza pasta bake - a yummy cheesy pasta with pepperoni, sweetcorn, peppers and lots of mozzarella 😋

Helloooo! Things have been so busy at the FaB Lab recently - we’ve made banana granola, twice baked potatoes, confetti cookies, sushi balls and lots more 😋

This week I finally remembered to take some photos of our ricotta and courgette tart - how delicious does this look?!

👻 HALLOWEEN 🎃

We decorated cookies and made spooky pizzas for Halloween this week at the FaB Lab! I found some edible ink marker pens for the kids to try and they used them to great effect 🎃🏚️

Just made a batch of quick fridge pickles (recipe from the brilliant ) to use up some of my runner bean glut! Really easy recipe - no boiling - and look how beautiful they are 😍

✨ Tuna pasta salad ✨

The ovens are definitely not being switched on this week ☀️🥵 so instead we’re making a delicious cool tuna pasta salad! Filled with fresh veg and coated in a lemony herb dressing, this chilled salad is going to help cool us down 🥒🫑🍋

We welcomed some new kids to The FaB Lab this week and it was great to see the original gang showing them the ropes and demonstrating the different ways you should use a knife! Thankfully they all passed with flying colours and got their knife licences at the end of the session 😅

❄️ Christmas party 🎅🏻

Thanks to all the children who have made our first term as The FaB Lab so enjoyable! This week we played festive tunes, decorated gingerbread, made cucumber Christmas trees and celery reindeer 🎄

We hope you all have lots of fun over the festive period and we will be back on the 10th January.

We're feeling very festive at The FaB Lab today - especially with all this snow! We will be donning our festive jumpers this afternoon for our final session of the year and having a Christmas party!

We are raring to go at The FaB Lab today after an Inset Day last Monday! We are exploring all things GREEN this week, and learning why this colour food is so important to your health. We will be pummelling basil, seeds, parmesan and lots of garlic into pesto, plus making yummy veg and mozzarella skewers for dipping
