Thank you to everyone for collecting the children so promptly due to water shortages. The parents arranging the disco are still planning to go ahead as they expect the water to be back on by 5pm. Have a lovely weekend!

We have no water in school due to a burst water main in the village, we have been told this will not be fixed until after the end of school day. This means we have no drinking water, no water for flushing toilet etc and have to implement an emergency closure immediately. Given the high temperatures, this is very serious. Please come to the office and collect your children as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvienience.

KS1 had a wonderful visit to Peterborough Cathedral yesterday. This trip supported their RE learning, looking at religious Christian symbols and the children made clay tiles based on these symbols. We got to see the Titanosaur still on exhibition at the Cathedral and then the afternoon was topped off with a visit to and Putt and Play golf giving the children a chance to try a new sport. There was even 3 hole in ones!
