Some budding cycle mechanics from Swans class enjoyed a maintenance workshop on Friday, learning how to remove a tyre and fix a puncture. Great skills acquired, well-done children!

Now it's starting to get darker earlier, we want to remind you about StreetSafe 💡 👍

Have you heard of it before? It allows you to report safety concerns in public places anonymously - without ever giving us your name.

This includes issues like poorly lit streets or alleyways, abandoned buildings, or vandalism - as well as instances where you feel unsafe due to someone following or verbally abusing you.

Please share and help spread the word - it could make more of a difference than you might think. Find out more about the online tool via our dedicated web page: https://orlo.uk/StreetSafe_pNmmx

Remember - in an emergency, or if you feel in immediate danger, always call us on 999 📱 🚔

What a beautiful day for a litter pick! Members of our Climate Action Team gave up their lunchtime to pick up litter around the village today, demonstrating our school values of respect, community and responsibility. Well done!

We were lucky enough today to see the Red Arrows had a planned route over Benwick. All the school went out onto the playground and waited in anticipation for their arrival. There were lots of excited children and adults when they flew over in formation. At least 3/4 of the children said in assembly this afternoon that this was their first time of seeing them.

Are you a parent of a child who will be starting in Reception in September 2027, or know someone who is? We will be hosting two parents tours in early November, giving you the opportunity to visit our wonderful school. Please use the QR code to book your place and we look forward to welcoming you and your family to our Benwick school community.

We would like to enhance our role play areas. If you have any unwanted items that may help us we would be grateful to receive them. E.g. handbags, purses/wallets, child size hats, sunglasses, age5-7 dressing up clothes.
Many thanks 😀

We would love for every child in the school to be able to plant a spring bulb in the school grounds to make a lovely Spring flower display and are asking for donations of bulbs please. We've received a couple of bags of daffodils so far (thank you!) but are still collecting. If you could spare a bag of bulbs they would be gratefully received. Many thanks!
