JOB **** LEVEL 3 CHILDCARE ASSISTANT

Level 3 qualified childcare assistant required. Initial 1 year contract, minimum 10 hours a week (during school hours Monday to Friday 9-3)) to join a lovely team of staff and busy Preschool setting in September 2023. Applications close July 1st 2023. Please follow the link to apply meets nmw.

New inquiries. For starting between now and January.

Good evening everyone, Noswaith da pawb.

I am beginning to contact any new starter inquiries we have for starting between now and January 2023. If you know anyone who was hoping for a space this year please ask them to complete the enquiry form below and we will contact them the term before their preferred start date. Children can start with us from the age of 2 years.

We are exceptionally busy this year and spaces are likely to fill sooner than previous years (we have some full lunchtimes already). This is why we cant book children in until the term before they are due to start, but we can take contact details on our enquiry form ready .

Placing children at the centre of learning | Estyn The pre-school setting is based in the village of Benllech, in Anglesey local authority. The leaders are new to their posts since September 2021. The setting contributes to the local authority’s new curriculum piloting group to share strategies and practice.

Pan gymerais i’r awenau fel arweinydd cyn-ysgol un o fy mhrif dargedau oedd gwneud y lleoliad yn fwy hygyrch i deuluoedd Cymraeg, rydym wedi bod yn defnyddio cymysgedd o Gymraeg a Saesneg gyda’r plant ers tro bellach, ond dim ond i raddau helaeth roedd ein gwaith papur ar gael. yn Saesneg. Mae wedi bod yn darged i mi sicrhau bod ein polisïau a’n gweithdrefnau ar gael yn Gymraeg ac yn Saesneg cyn gynted â phosibl.
Roeddem yn gwybod bod hyn yn mynd i fod yn her fawr gyda bron i 30 o bolisïau ar gyfartaledd 3-4 tudalen o hyd ond hysbysebodd Menter Iaith Môn grant ar gyfer cefnogi’r defnydd o’r Gymraeg ac rwy’n falch o ddweud ein bod yn llwyddiannus (efallai ei fod wedi cymryd a ychydig flynyddoedd i mi fy hun weithio trwy eu cyfieithu i gyd!!)

Anfonwyd y polisïau i ffwrdd ychydig o wythnosau yn ôl ac mae'n dda gennyf ddweud eu bod newydd gyrraedd yn ôl o'r cyfieithwyr felly mae'r targed hwn bellach wedi'i gyrraedd ac os hoffai unrhyw un gael copïau o bolisïau yn Gymraeg maent ar gael nawr.

Policies available in Welsh from today

We knew this was going to be a big challenges with nearly 30 policies averaging 3-4 pages in length but Menter Iaith Môn advertised a grant for supporting the use of Welsh language and I am pleased to say we were succesful (it may have taken a few years for myself to work through translating them all!!)

The policies were sent off a couple of weeks ago and i'm please to say they have just arrived back from the translators so this target has now been met and if anyone would like any copies of policies in Welsh they are now available.

Massive thankyou to Menter Mon, Isle of Anglesey Council and the Uk government Wales for making this possible.
