Tree Tots Pre-School Welcome to the page of Tree Tots Pre-School 🌳 🍎🖍 It is Ofsted registered for a maximum of 21 children per session.

It is intended that this page will be used in addition to the news letters that are currently ditributed and for staff, parents and carers to share information relevant to the Pre-School. We run morning sessions, Monday to Friday from 8.50am until 11.50am and afternoon sessions Monday to Friday 12.30pm until 15.30pm, term time only. We also offer a lunch club that bridges the 2 sessions for further flexibility. We have new purpose built premises within the grounds of Jotmans Hall School and are able to access all the schools facilities. Tree Tots is run by Managers Lesley Hart and Liz Driscoll.

🎶 Nursery Rhyme Week! 🎶

What a wonderful week we’ve had celebrating all things nursery rhymes! 🌈📚 The children have loved singing their favourite rhymes, joining in with actions, exploring stories and taking part in lots of fun activities inspired by our favourite characters. It’s been lovely to see their confidence grow as they joined in with the words, songs and actions. 💕✨

We’ve also enjoyed lots of lovely stories this week, with ‘The Big Red Bath’ being a firm favourite! 🤩📖

The children have been busy little chefs in the mud kitchen too, making us lots of delicious-looking soups, cakes and ice creams! They used conkers, potatoes, carrots and baby corn to create their wonderful concoctions. 🥔🥕🌽

Get Moving & Healthy Eating! 🌈🥦🍓

This week we have been keeping our bodies busy and learning all about healthy choices! We have enjoyed lots of exercise, completed exciting obstacle courses, practised calming yoga and had fun trying a variety of delicious fruits and vegetables. We also got creative with painting using different textures, exploring how things feel and look as we created our masterpieces. After all that busy activity, we made sure to take some time to slow down, relax and recharge our batteries too! What a wonderful week of moving, exploring, creating and looking after our bodies and minds. 💚

🦕 Dinosaur Week! 🦖

We’ve had a lovely time exploring dinosaurs this week! The children have been busy creating their very own dinosaurs in our craft area, experimenting with lots of different textures and materials. We’ve been learning the names of different dinosaurs, going on exciting dinosaur hunts and reading lots of wonderful books all about dinosaurs. We’ve used our imaginations to explore a prehistoric world while developing our creativity, language and knowledge through lots of fun, hands-on activities. It has been a fantastic week of exploring, creating and learning together! 🦕🦖
