Strong pole dancers aren’t built on tricks alone!

Strength and conditioning plays a huge part in pole training, helping us develop the muscle engagement, stability and control needed to perform moves safely and effectively.

It’s not always about learning the next big trick. Sometimes the biggest progress comes from the exercises that build the foundations behind it

Not quite goodbye, just a new chapter!

A little mash-up of memories from our aerial farewell celebration for Anita last night !

After nearly 8 years as part of the MVPA instructor team, we came together to celebrate everything Anita has brought to our studio, from the countless classes and achievements to the friendships and memories made along the way.

We’re incredibly grateful for all the time, energy and dedication she’s given to our students and our community.

Thankfully, this isn’t a complete goodbye! Anita will still be training with us and popping up to cover classes, so you’ll still see her around the studio.

Here’s to nearly 8 years of memories and the next chapter ahead!

Thank you, Anita, for everything you’ve brought to MVPA 💙

Spins are NOT just for beginners.

They challenge our muscles in slightly different ways to static tricks, requiring dynamic engagement and coordination to manage movement and momentum.

There’s a huge range of pole spins, from the very first ones we learn as beginners right through to incredibly challenging advanced and elite-level variations.

As we progress, spins become more technically demanding, requiring greater strength, coordination, control and body awareness.

Spins aren’t a beginner skill, they’re a fundamental part of pole training at EVERY level ❣️💪🏻

Here’s a little look at some of the moves you could be learning in your first few classes.

From your first spins and poses to building strength, coordination and confidence, every move is a step towards something bigger.

No experience, strength or flexibility needed to get started. That’s what we’re here to help you build.

Everyone starts somewhere, and you might just surprise yourself with what you can achieve in just 4 weeks.
