With the time coming for harvest festival we celebrated this by using vegetables to paint and print. We looked at colours,shapes and different types of vegetables. The children all had a great time .

We are 3 local childminders we have served st Johns school, Belper for over 20 years, we take children to school and will collect them after school.
We take the government childcare vouchers which will save the parent/ carer 20%.
We offer term time only contracts if required.
When the weather is good we enjoy playing outside on a local field playing football, rounders or just chilling out .

The children had a fun filled morning at the woollen woods it was great to take part in a community event . We then had snacks and drinks at the park.

We had an early celebration for the queen’s Jubilee. We made cakes and crowns then played with the parachute . We had a picnic lunch and then read Peppa Pig meets the queen . The children had a fantastic morning and loved waving each other off with their flags .

To celebrate world nursery rhyme week we bought a story sack and sang lots of nursery rhymes , coloured in pictures the children thoroughly enjoyed this activity.

At the end of a long working day we did a safeguarding children course. A lovely piece of cake kept the brain working 😉.

This morning we continued with the pumpkin theme and made a pumpkin suncatcher the children learned about colours and shapes.

On 13/10/21 we had pumpkins donated to us from Morrison’s Belper . At the scout hut the children had a fantastic time hollowing them out and playing in the flesh and seeds.
We then cut a design into the pumpkin and displayed the pumpkins in our setting.
