A busy month of RYA senior instructor training at Andrew Simpson centre Portland in absolutely amazing conditions.

Followed by swim safe in-person instructor training around the Midlands region.

Not bad work if you can get it 🌞😁

It was the first of the RYA Midlands instructor development days hosted at on Sunday. We were blessed with great weather, but really light wind. The attendees challenged themselves to run some sessions they wouldn't usually get the chance to at their locations, resulting in some great learning points being brought up for everyone. Midlands instructors look out for the next day being run on the 20th June.

From East to West this week for RYA Powerboat instructor courses.
Congratulations to the students from Welton Waters Activities Centre and Hornsea Inshore Rescue and 4 new PB instructors.
A "short" overnight ferry to the Isle of Man to moderate at Douglas Bay Yacht Club who now have 3 new instructors in some fresh conditions to say the least.

Another awesome week at Andrew Simpson centre in Portland taking 12 candidates through the Senior instructor course.

These guys have an intense week of on water session delivery, shore based delivery and discussion.

Well done for everyone completing the week and good luck on your instructor journeys.

It's been a beautiful day of wing and windsurf instruction at Welton Waters Adventure Centre

Not all days are hectic instructor courses. A more mellow weekend at with our regular Saturday sailors honing their skills in light wind conditions. Not a bad view from the office.
