We are hiring! We are looking for a passionate and skilled Gardener to join our team on a part-time, flexible basis.

This role is to cover absence and increase capacity in the team, to be able to take on more regular clients.

Key Responsibilities:

-Pruning, weeding, and general garden upkeep
-Using hand tools such as secateurs, saws, loppers, and other -equipment safely
-Using electric hedge trimmers and petrol mower to maintain hedges and lawns
-Moving materials, such as topsoil, brash from pruning.
-Constructing compost bays and maintaining compost systems
-Assisting with weekend plant stall operations packing and trading
-Attending team meetings to plan and schedule work

The role could also include:

-Conducting consultations and advising clients on plant selection
-Writing comprehensive plant lists tailored to garden needs
-Small hard landscaping, for example levelling patios, constructing raised beds, laying paths

Required Skills & Experience:

-Skilled in pruning and tool handling (saws, shears, etc.)
-Good physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various conditions
-Experience with composting and sustainable/regenerative garden practices
-Excellent communication skills
