We were delighted to welcome Marianna Ferguson from CEF to Bellaghy Primary School for assembly.

Through the example of Jesus, Marianna encouraged us to show kindness and compassion to others and to shine for Jesus in our everyday lives. She also reminded us of the importance of prayer and knowing that God is always there for us. 🙏

Thank you Marianna for sharing such a lovely message with our boys and girls!

🌾 A big thank you to Deborah for visiting Bellaghy Primary School to share her experiences of living in Kenya.

Deborah showed us how she collected water and washed her clothes. She also explained how she had to stock up on supplies when she was near the city, as there were no shops close to where she lived.

Her message linked beautifully to Harvest time and Psalm 9:1, reminding our boys and girls to thank God with all their hearts and appreciate the blessings we have each day. 💛

Thank you, Deborah, for such a thoughtful and interesting visit!

❤️Hope 365 Ethiopia❤️

We were delighted to welcome Michael from Hope 365 to Bellaghy PS to hear about the magnificent work the charity is doing in Ethiopia.

We were proud to present him with a cheque for £790, raised through last year’s Dress Down Fridays. Hope 365 have an orphanage in Ethiopia mostly for boys found on the street and a school for boys and girls.

We are also beginning a lovely link with their school and over the next couple of weeks our boys and girls will be sending pictures over to them.

A huge thank you to our school community for your generosity and support! 👏
