💙 A Fantastic First Day for Our Primary 1s! 💙

Our new Primary 1 children had a wonderful first day at Bellaghy Primary School! 🌟 They settled in beautifully, enjoying colouring, outdoor play and lots of fun activities. 😊

A huge thank you to Alex for the beautiful balloon decorations—they looked fantastic! 🎈

We are so proud of all our P1s and hope they enjoyed their first day as part of the Bellaghy PS family. 💙

📚Back to School at Bellaghy PS💙

The summer holidays are almost over and we’re getting everything ready for the start of a brand-new school year! ✏️

We hope all our children and families have had a lovely summer and made lots of happy memories. We’re excited to see our school busy again and to welcome everyone back for another fun-filled year of learning. 🌟

It's not every day that a Bellaghy cycling star with his Mum and Aunt pass by your house, but I feel very honoured.
This brave (because he got back on his bike after a fall), young chap is progressing brilliantly to his destination.
We are very proud and appreciative of this young man.

If you’re out and about and see him make sure u give him a cheer 🥳 or if ur in Portrush we would love u to join us as he finishes at East Strand (near the Coffee Cart)

Bellaghy 7am
Portglenone 7.45am
Kilrea 8.30/ 8.45
Husqvarna 10am/10.15am
Sainsbury’s Petrol station 11.15/11.30am
Flowerfields 12.15pm
West Strand 12.45pm
FINISH East Strand 12.55 pm

Hopefuli it won’t take as long but we need to allow time for breakdowns 🙈 it happens ALOT 🤣 plus we are gathering a few little people in Coleraine to spur him on for a little bit.

Freddie’s cycle to Portrush is this Sunday 23rd August. 🚴

He will arrive at the East Strand beach between 12noon and 1pm. 🌊

If you’re free on Sunday, he would love to see some Bellaghy PS folk cheer him on en route or welcome him at his finishing point. Freddie’s mum will keep us updated along the route on Sunday morning.

We are incredibly proud to share that one of our pupils will take on a cycling challenge to support Bellaghy Primary School!

Freddie has decided to complete a cycle ride from Bellaghy to Portrush to help raise funds for our school.

We'll be sharing updates on his journey along the way, and we'd love you to get behind Freddie and his family with words of encouragement and, if you wish, a donation.

Key Stages 1&2 finished the evening by singing the blessing, 'The Lord Bless Thee and Keep Thee', to Mrs Richmond.
It was a wonderful evening of celebration and praise and we send her with our love and wish her every blessing for the future.💙
