🍂 It’s been a bit of a Gruffalo day here! 🍂🦊

📦✨ We had a very special delivery… the brand new Gruffalo’s Granny book! 📚👵🦊😍 We can’t wait to read it with the children!

🧁🍫 We also had lots of fun baking our very own Gruffalo buns! 🦊💚👀😋

🌈✨ Another busy week of fun at Colette’s Childminding! ✨🌈

🍔 Monday: School was off again, so we enjoyed a fun morning at soft play 🤸‍♀️🛝 followed by McDonald’s for lunch! 🍟🍔😋

🧁❄️ Tuesday: We had lots of fun in the kitchen making our Frozen buns! 💙🩵👩‍🍳 We mixed, baked and decorated and of course we had to have a little taste test! 😋🧁✨

☀️🌳 Wednesday: We made the most of the sunshine at V36 Park! ⚽️🛝🏃‍♀️🌿

🌊🐚 Thursday: A lovely trip to Hazelbank Beach, where we explored, enjoyed the fresh air and collected lots of shells! 🐚🤍🌊

🎂🎉 Friday: A very special birthday for the best boy turning a BIG 3! 🥳💙 We celebrated with lots of singing and delicious Caterpillar Cake! 🐛🎂😋

🌸🐑 TANNAGHMORE GARDENS & FARM 🐑🌸

With the schools off today 📚❌ we decided to make the most of the day and head off on a little adventure! 🚗💨🥰

We headed to Tannaghmore Gardens & Farm with Rebecca’s Little Explorers 🧸🌈💕 after a lovely mummy recommended it to us! 🥰 And what a fantastic recommendation it was! 😍🙌🏻

We packed up our picnic 🧺🥪🍎🧃 and spent the day exploring the beautiful gardens 🌸🌺🌿, seeing all the animals 🐑🐐🐓🐖 and having a go at the maze! 🌿🌀😂🙈

The children had such a brilliant time! 😍💕 Lots of exploring 🔎🌿, running around 🏃‍♀️💨, animal spotting 🐑🐔🐄, finding our way through the maze 🌀🌳🤣 and, of course, enjoying our picnic together 🧺😋☀️

It was the perfect way to spend a school free day ❤️🌈 and even better getting to enjoy it with Rebecca’s Little Explorers 🥰🧸

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Definitely recommend for a lovely day out! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

✨ Another busy week at Colette’s! ✨

🌸 We’ve had a new little face join us this week and we’ve loved getting to know our newest little friend! 🥰💕

🌳 Lots of trips to the park the yellow slide is still a firm favourite! 💛🛝

🏰 A little adventure to Cavehill Castle, exploring and enjoying the fresh air. 🌿

🦆 A lovely walk to the duck pond with our friends lots of quacking and happy little faces! 🥰

📚🎃 Our new Halloween books arrived in the post, ready for some spooky story time! 👻🕷️

💌 We made some Get Well Soon cards for someone special 💕🌸

📚 Lots of library visits in between our school runs 🤓 📕

🧁 We also had lots of fun baking Bluey 💙 & Frozen ❄️ buns with plenty of decorating and taste testing! 😂😋

🌈 Lots of fun, fresh air, creativity, friendship and little memories made! 🥰

Absolutely delighted to say I’ve had another inspection and NO recommendations and NO requirements! 🥳🙌

🦁🐒 A day at Belfast Zoo! 🐒🦁

Two childminders, 12 children and a whole lot of fun! 🥰 We had a brilliant day exploring the zoo, seeing the lions up close 🦁 and watching the silly monkeys having a little fight! 😂🐒

We even had a little drama when a hairband fell into the meerkat enclosure 🙈 Thankfully, a quick thinking childminder and an extra long stick saved the day! 😂👏 No meerkats were harmed! 🐾🤣

Lots of laughs, adventures and happy (but very tired!) little explorers! ❤️

🕵️‍♂️💥 WHOA! WHAT A DAY! THE BEANO ADVENTURE BEGINS! 💥🕵️‍♀️

Today we headed off to the beautiful Hillsborough Castle Gardens for a fantastic Beano adventure! 🌳🏰📚✨

The children had SO much fun exploring the gardens and getting stuck into the Beano display! 😍🎉 We had lots of clues to follow and things to find as we worked together to collect all the different parts needed to build the Time Machine! ⏰🚀🔧

There was plenty of exploring, searching, teamwork and lots of excitement along the way! 👀🔎🙌🏻😂

And the best part… WE FOUND THEM ALL! 🎉🎉🎉 The children were absolutely delighted to complete the Time Machine mission! 🕰️⚡️🚀

A brilliant day filled with adventure, imagination, fresh air, learning and lots of happy little faces! ❤️🌈🌿

🍎 Our First Week Back! 🍎✨

After just a week away, it was lovely to welcome everyone back! 💛

This week has been all about slowing things down and settling back into our familiar routine. 🧸📚🌿 Even a short break can take little ones out of their usual rhythm, so we’ve enjoyed easing back into our days together.

We’ve had lots of free play, time outdoors, stories, and plenty of smiles as we settled back in. 🌈☀️ Here’s to another fun-filled week ahead! 💛
