🕵️‍♂️💥 WHOA! WHAT A DAY! THE BEANO ADVENTURE BEGINS! 💥🕵️‍♀️

Today we headed off to the beautiful Hillsborough Castle Gardens for a fantastic Beano adventure! 🌳🏰📚✨

The children had SO much fun exploring the gardens and getting stuck into the Beano display! 😍🎉 We had lots of clues to follow and things to find as we worked together to collect all the different parts needed to build the Time Machine! ⏰🚀🔧

There was plenty of exploring, searching, teamwork and lots of excitement along the way! 👀🔎🙌🏻😂

And the best part… WE FOUND THEM ALL! 🎉🎉🎉 The children were absolutely delighted to complete the Time Machine mission! 🕰️⚡️🚀

A brilliant day filled with adventure, imagination, fresh air, learning and lots of happy little faces! ❤️🌈🌿

🍎 Our First Week Back! 🍎✨

After just a week away, it was lovely to welcome everyone back! 💛

This week has been all about slowing things down and settling back into our familiar routine. 🧸📚🌿 Even a short break can take little ones out of their usual rhythm, so we’ve enjoyed easing back into our days together.

We’ve had lots of free play, time outdoors, stories, and plenty of smiles as we settled back in. 🌈☀️ Here’s to another fun-filled week ahead! 💛

🍕👩‍🍳 Pizza Making Masterclass! 😂

Today’s little chefs made their own tortilla wrap pizzas for lunch! 🍅🧀 They loved choosing their own toppings and getting stuck in.

The biggest hit? 🌽 Sweetcorn! I think more of it was eaten before the pizzas made it into the oven than actually ended up on them! 😂💛

🍦🍨 Ice Cream Playdough Fun! 🍨🍦

Today we had so much fun making our very own homemade playdough before opening our little ice cream shop! 🥣🎨👩‍🍳

The children loved measuring, mixing, pouring and watching the colours come to life before getting stuck in with lots of squeezing, rolling, scooping and creating delicious pretend ice creams! 🍦🍧🍓🍒🍭✨

🥣 Our Simple Homemade Playdough Recipe
🤍 2 cups plain flour
🧂 ½ cup finely ground salt
🫒 2 tbsp olive oil
💧 Around ¾ cup warm water
🎨 A few drops of food colouring
🍦 A splash of vanilla extract (optional)

Mix the dry ingredients together 🥣, add the olive oil 🫒, then slowly pour in the coloured warm water 💧 while stirring. Knead until smooth and soft… and it’s ready to play! 🙌💕

✨ We didn’t have any cream of tartar today, but if you have it at home, adding 2 teaspoons is the secret to making super soft, stretchy playdough that lasts even longer! 💛

Nothing beats a homemade activity that sparks so much imagination, creativity and fun! 🥰🌈✨

🏰 🌹 Antrim Castle Gardens 🌹 🏰

We started our adventure at the big ship park 🚢🛝, where the children had so much fun climbing, sliding, exploring, and burning off lots of energy! 😄💚

Next, we enjoyed a lovely picnic together 🧺🥪🍎 in the sunshine, chatting, laughing, and recharging for the rest of our adventure. ☀️💛

After lunch, we explored the beautiful Antrim Castle Gardens 🌸🌳. The children’s favourite part was definitely the magical Fairy Garden 🧚‍♀️✨! They loved spotting all the cute little signs 👀🪧, fairy houses 🍄🏡, and all the magical surprises along the way. Their imaginations were in full swing! 🥰

A perfect day filled with fun, friendship, fresh air, and lots of happy memories. 🌈💚

🌸👑 What a beautiful morning with all our wonderful childminding friends! 💛☀️

Today we enjoyed a lovely visit to the gardens at Hazelbank 🌼🌿, taking a stroll through all the gorgeous flowers 🌺🌷🌻 and stopping to admire the beautiful crown display 👑✨. The children loved exploring the sensory garden, feeling different textures 🌾, smelling the flowers 🌸, listening to nature 🐝🦋 and enjoying lots of outdoor fun together! 🍃💚

We just love exploring Cavehill trial’s 🌳, stream splashing 💦, muddy shoes 👣, fresh air 🌞, and lots of smiles, laughter, and fun! 😄💚✨

What a wonderful day we’ve had! 💛 We joined Rebecca’s Little Explorers for a lovely Teddy Bears’ Picnic, enjoying tasty treats, spending time with friends, and bringing along our favourite cuddly bears. 🐻🧸🌼

To finish off our fun day, we had an exciting football match! ⚽🥅 There were lots of goals 😂, plenty of running, great teamwork, and so much fun! 🙌⚽
