📢 ANNOUNCEMENT

We are delighted to invite parents, students, former students, staff, families and friends of the school to join us for a special community event on Saturday 5th September 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Everyone is warmly welcome — whether you are part of our current school community, an alumni, or simply a supporter of our school.

There will be a range of enjoyable activities suitable for all ages to enjoy throughout the afternoon. Refreshments and food will be provided by our school canteen, so you can relax, catch up, and take the time to look around.

Over recent days, certain year groups have attended school to meet their form teachers and allow new members of our school community to familiarise themselves with our environment.

All students will return on 7 September 2026 at 9:00 am. Students should report to their form class, where they will receive timetables, attendance guidelines, and information on school expectations.

If you are in receipt of one of the following, you will need to upload a Proof of Benefit letter when applying for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance for the 2026/27 academic year:

➡️ Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
➡️ Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit

You can request a Proof of Benefit letter online: https://t.co/vhcVyDRoi5 (It will take at least five days to be sent to you)

If you receive Universal Credit, you do not need the Proof of Benefit Letter. However, you will need to upload evidence of your Universal Credit entitlement when you apply.

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am writing to inform you that Ackley Bridge Integrated College will undergo renovation work over the coming months.

As a result, all students will be transferred individually to alternative schools for their education after the summer break.

You will receive a letter by post confirming your child’s new school placement in due course.

We sincerely regret this change and apologise for any inconvenience or disruption this may cause.

Applications are open for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowances for the 2026/27 academic year.

Important info for applying:
✔️ Add each child for whom you have parental responsibility and who will be attending full time at school or Regional/FE College to your application

✔️ If children are aged over 16 and you’re unsure whether they will return to school or change schools, add on the application the child’s name and the name of the school your child waiting for results is most likely to attend

✔️ Inform the Meals and Uniform Section by phone or in writing if this information changes. You can do this by emailing [email protected]

Your child’s funding will be delayed if you do not add them to your application before submitting.
