I hope all those winners of tickets to Balmoral Show are making good use of them. Weather is brilliant, although I am judging shearing and wool handling. Congratulations to the prize winners in the wool-handling yesterday of which we were sponsors. # Lantra Ireland

ATVs/quads are a game-changer for farming, perfect for checking livestock, navigating tight spaces, and crossing damp fields - but with rising ATV accidents, it’s important to have proper training and wear PPE to ensure you stay safe.

To operate an ATV for work, you need to complete an accredited training course AND ALWAYS wear a helmet. Lantra’s comprehensive ‘All-Terrain Vehicle - Sit-Astride’ course covers essential safety and manoeuvre skills.
