Our infants have been exploring their creativity and imagination as they discover different ways to build and shape sand. From filling and tipping buckets to patting, moulding, and decorating their creations, every sculpture is unique and special!

Playing with sand is not only great fun, but it also helps develop fine motor skills, encourages problem-solving, and sparks imaginative play. Watching our little learners experiment with different shapes, textures, and ideas has been wonderful to see.

This summer, our infants got ready for their beach holidays in the most creative way!

From making beautiful artwork featuring bright suns, colourful beach balls, and refreshing cold drinks, our little artists embraced all things summer. They explored colours, textures, and seasonal themes.

We transformed our garden into our very own mini beach, giving the children the chance to enjoy a special seaside experience right here at nursery. There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of summer memories made along the way.

Our Infants have been having lots of fun enjoying water play! 💦

Water play is a wonderful sensory experience, and our little ones loved splashing, pouring, scooping and exploring the different textures and movements of the water. There were plenty of smiles, giggles and excited reactions as they discovered how water flows and splashes.

Not only is water play great fun, but it also helps to develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and early problem-solving skills. Most importantly, it provides a fantastic opportunity for our babies to explore the world around them through play.

Our infants have been exploring lots of different methods of transport! 🚗🚌🎈

From soaring through the skies in planes and hot air balloons to travelling by trains, buses, and cars, our little learners have been discovering how we get from one place to another. Their colourful transport-themed artwork was absolutely fantastic, showcasing their creativity and imagination.

The fun continued with some exciting sensory play as the children investigated how quickly their ice cube boats would melt. 🧊⛵ This hands-on activity encouraged curiosity and exploration as they watched the changes happen.

We also spent time creating and painting traffic lights, learning what each colour means and why they are important for keeping us safe. 🚦 Alongside this, the children enjoyed sorting games and transport flashcards, helping them to develop their recognition, matching, and communication skills.

Our infants have been preparing for their very own hazard perception test and driving practical!

Before hitting the road, our little drivers made sure their cars were sparkling clean and ready for inspection. Armed with sponges, bubbles, and plenty of enthusiasm, they worked hard to get their vehicles looking their very best.

Once their cars were roadworthy, the children put their observation skills to the test, spotting hazards and learning about staying safe on the roads. Through imaginative play and interactive activities, they explored the importance of paying attention to their surroundings and following simple road safety rules.

Well done to all our fantastic little drivers for passing with flying colours!
