Ben Madigan Preparatory School

Calling all past pupils, families, staff and friends of Ben Madigan

You are warmly invited to join us for the momentous occasion of the final ever walk from Ben Madigan’s Castle Grounds.

We would love to see as many of you as possible as we gather to support our remaining pupils and staff and line their path as they make their historic final journey from the school.

Led by a piper, our leavers will take their last walk through the Castle Grounds, becoming the final ever Ben Madigan Leavers.

Piping will commence at 12.00 noon, and we kindly ask guests to gather from 11.45am to ensure a warm and memorable send-off.

This is a unique opportunity to celebrate the rich history, friendships and memories of Ben Madigan Preparatory School and to honour those who form part of its final chapter.

Celebration Afternoon Tea ☕✨ Reconnecting with old friends, colleagues, and teachers to reminisce, reflect, and celebrate the wonderful memories we shared at Ben Madigan Prep.

Sports Day with a twist! 🍦

The children enjoyed homemade scones, pizza from Orto, an ice cream bar and even a parent inflatable race. A lovely day full of fun, food and laughter.

A lovely treat today as lunch was kindly paid for by SDA in Orto.

For dessert, the children enjoyed lemon drizzle cake, which they had made earlier with Fiona.

There were lots of smiles today as the children made banoffee desserts with Fiona. From preparing the ingredients to enjoying the finished treat, everyone had a wonderful time taking part. 🍌🍯✨

Today we enjoyed a visit to Ravine at Knockbracken Healthcare Park. The children loved exploring the beautiful outdoor environment, taking in the sights and sounds of nature, and learning more about the world around them. It was a wonderful opportunity to get outdoors, explore new surroundings and enjoy some fresh air together. 🌿🍃

A day of fun, food and crafting. Making fudge, fifteens and beaded bottle stoppers.

Prep 7 took full advantage of the fantastic weather yesterday, showing off their art skills through beautiful still life chalk drawings of flowers.

We are delighted to say that all tickets for our Afternoon Tea & Memories event have now sold out. If you were unable to get a ticket you may still call up to the school to look around and reconnect and reminisce with old friends between 3:15pm and 4:00pm.

Today, pupils developed their kayaking skills in the pool. They learnt what to do if a kayak rolled over and practised how to stay safe in the water. Pupils also used oars to move around the pool, building confidence, coordination and control.
