Whether you are considering Kindergarten, Junior School, Year 8 entry, Sixth Form or Boarding, we hope the day provides a genuine insight into what makes Campbell such a special community.

We were delighted to host a behind-the-scenes look at the IFA JD National Residential Academy and the partnership between the The Irish Football Association and Campbell College.

Featuring Year 12 pupils Bailey and Kaysan, alongside Northern Ireland Manager Michael O’Neil and Irish FA Technical Director and former Northern Ireland captain Aaron Hughes, the piece offers a fascinating insight into life as an Academy player at Campbell.

The Academy is home to some of Northern Ireland’s top young football talent, with 23 players living, learning and training at Campbell throughout the week. The programme provides pupils with the opportunity to pursue their ambitions on the pitch while benefiting from the opportunities, support, and experience of a full Campbell education.

Living and learning alongside pupils from across Northern Ireland and around the world, they become part of a diverse community that helps prepare them not only for the next stage of their football journey, but for life beyond it.

We are proud to support our Academy pupils as they continue to develop both on and off the pitch and are delighted to see their experiences, alongside the strength of this partnership, shared with a wider audience.

Starting Senior School is about more than finding your way around a new timetable.

As part of their induction programme, our Year 8 pupils recently headed to Jungle NI for a day of outdoor activities, including archery, zorbing, laser target shooting and bungee trampolines.

Beyond the activities, the experience provided an opportunity for the boys to spend time with their House mates, get to know one another better and continue settling into life at Campbell.

Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions a family will make.

You can compare examination results, facilities and co-curricular programmes. You can read inspection reports and admissions information. All of these things matter.

Yet, for many families, the question eventually becomes much simpler:

Congratulations to Hugo (Year 14, School), who has been selected to represent Ireland at the European Cyber Security Challenge (ECSC) in Bochum, Germany this October.

The competition brings together some of Europe's most talented young cyber security specialists, offering a unique opportunity to compete, collaborate and learn alongside the very best emerging talent from across Europe.

Hugo's selection is a tremendous achievement and reflects both his technical ability and commitment to the subject. We look forward to following his progress and wish him every success as he represents Ireland in Germany.

Some children begin their Campbell journey in Kindergarten, while others join us in Prep 1, Year 8 or Sixth Form.

Some live just around the corner, while others travel from much further afield to become part of our community.

Different starting points. Different journeys.

What connects them is a strong sense of belonging and a school committed to helping every young person discover their strengths, develop their character and fulfil their potential.

Congratulations to Fraser (Year 12, Davis's), who has been selected for the Swim Ireland Regional Programme for 2026/27....

Congratulations to Fraser (Year 12, Davis's), who has been selected for the Swim Ireland Regional Programme for 2026/27.

Fraser enjoyed an outstanding summer in the pool, competing at the Irish National Championships in July, where he won the 50m Freestyle to become Irish National Champion. He also reached a number of A Finals, recording several top-five and top-six finishes across the competition.

Following these performances, Fraser achieved the required performance standard for selection to the Swim Ireland Regional Programme, which supports the development of promising young swimmers.
As part of the programme, he will benefit from additional coaching opportunities and is expected to compete at an international event in 2027.

This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of Fraser's hard work and commitment in the pool. We wish him every success as he embarks on this exciting next step in his swimming journey 🏊‍♂️

As part of their weekly Athletic Development sessions, our 1st and 2nd XV squads have been exploring the role nutrition plays in supporting training, recovery and performance.

Working alongside the Nutrition and Health Sciences Department, the boys recently prepared three nutrient-dense snacks designed to support recovery and meet the demands of training and competition.

The session provided a valuable opportunity to develop a greater understanding of sports nutrition, reinforcing the fact that performance isn't built on the rugby pitch alone. The boys gained an insight into the habits and routines that underpin success both on and off the pitch.

The Old Campbellian Ball returns for 2026.

Hosted by the Old Campbellian Society, this much-loved event brings together Old Campbellians, parents and friends of the College for what promises to be another memorable evening in the Campbell calendar.

Set within the unique surroundings of the College, the Ball offers a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new acquaintances and celebrate the enduring connection that so many share with Campbell.

Guests will be welcomed by the College Pipe Band before enjoying a Prosecco reception, a three-course dinner by Posh Nosh, and an evening of live music and dancing.

Whether you are a regular attendee or considering joining us for the first time, we would encourage you to come along and experience one of the highlights of the Campbell social calendar.

Since work began earlier this year, significant progress has been made on Phase 4 of our Building for the Future: Heritage programme.

This phase has focused on the restoration of New House and the small tower section of the original College buildings, continuing our long-term commitment to preserving Campbell's historic campus and ensuring it remains fit for future generations of Campbellians.

This latest update offers a behind-the-scenes look at the transformation that has taken place over recent months and the craftsmanship involved in restoring one of the College's most historic buildings. We are incredibly grateful to everyone whose support has made this important phase possible.

As Phase 4 nears completion, our attention turns to the next chapter of the Heritage programme. With further restoration work still required across the Main Building, continued support will be vital in helping us preserve Campbell's historic campus for generations to come.
