What a fantastic morning we had at our Stepping Stones Pre-School Nursery Sports Day at Our Lady of Lourdes PS, Park Lodge

Well done to all of our superstars – you were amazing! 🌟

We couldn't let the week pass without saying a huge thank you to Madigans Court for their very generous sponsorship. Thanks to their kindness, every child received a medal and enjoyed delicious buns and refreshments. 🥇

Thank you also to all of our families for coming along to cheer the children on and helping to make sports day so special. ❤️

A special thank you to Susan, Clare and Becca PlayBoard NI for providing engaging play experiences for the children over the past few weeks and for delivering staff training.

The online training session for parents will take place this Wednesday from 5.00pm–6.00pm for those who are able to attend. The joining link will be shared on Seesaw.

Stepping Stones Pre-School Playgroup is seeking two enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our caring team and help us continue providing a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment for our children.
For over 35 years, Stepping Stones has proudly supported children and families within the North Belfast community. We are currently based within Our Lady of Lourdes PS, Park Lodge.
We provide 23 pre-school places each academic year and follow the Northern Ireland Pre-School Curriculum, offering activities that promote development across the six areas of learning.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 / 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐮𝐭𝐲
Essential Criteria:
• QCF Level 5 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent)
• Minimum of 2 years’ paid experience working in an Early Years setting within the last 5 years
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience implementing the Department of Education Early Years Curriculum within the last 5 years

𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭
Essential Criteria:
• QCF Level 3 Diploma in Child Care, Learning and Development, or Playwork
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience working with children aged 3+ in either a paid or voluntary capacity

Hours: 8:30am – 2:00pm (Monday–Friday)
7 hours overtime per month and term-time holidays
