Our amazing first years have been busy developing and perfecting a range of technology skills, and we’re already so impressed with their progress!

Very soon, we’ll get to see their completed Blockhead projects — and from what we’ve seen so far, they are already looking amazing! 👏🤩

Our 8P students have been showing fantastic confidence and independence when using a variety of tools and machines. Well done, 8P — keep up the great work! 💪🔨

We can’t wait to see the finished projects! 💙🌟💛🌟💙

NI cup game success! ⚽️⚽️⚽️ BTC won 4-1 against Grosvenor Grammar, and are now into the next round! 🤩🤩🤩 We started the game slow creating a handful of chances in the first half, while limiting Grosvenor to very little. After half time, we changed a few things and then started to dominate possession. 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻 Before long, we got the lead through a great finish by Jake Kinsella, who went on to score a hat trick! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Our fourth goal was scored by Caolan McKeown, who was outstanding all game! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Our boys were outstanding both on and off the pitch. 💙👌🏻💛👌🏻💙

A great introduction to this month’s focus as part of our Year 12 PD programme: Mental Health Awareness and Resilience. 💪

Our students came together for an important year group assembly, followed by an opportunity to check in with peers, connect and talk openly, all while enjoying some well-deserved tea and biscuits. ☕🍪

A positive start to an important month of conversations, reflection and support!

⚽ Year 9 Football | First Win of the Year! ⚽

A momentous first win of the year for our Year 9 footballers as they secured an impressive 5–0 victory over La Salle!

⭐ Alfie led the way with a fantastic hat-trick, while Jacob and Ronan also got on the scoresheet.

It was a brilliant team performance from start to finish against a strong La Salle side. The boys showed great determination, teamwork and attacking intent to get the new school football year off to a flying start.

👏 Well done, lads — a fantastic result!

Things got a bit foamy in Science Club this week, as our students took on the ever-popular Elephant’s Toothpaste experiment! 🫧 🦷🪥😬A real favourite here at BTC! 🐘

Plenty of fizz, foam and fun as our keen scientists also explored the science behind the reaction. 💙🔬💛✨💙

A huge congratulations to Sophia Doris, named Captain, and Julia McBrearty, named Vice Captain, of the Year 8 Girls’ Gaelic team! 🏐👏

Two fantastic young ladies who show determination, leadership and class both on and off the pitch. They are wonderful representatives of their team, and we have no doubt they’ll lead by example.

Wishing Sophia, Julia and the whole Year 8 girls’ team the very best of luck in their first Year 8 blitz on Monday. Go out, enjoy it, give it everything and most importantly, have fun! 💪💙

Well deserved girls — congratulations!
