Mercy Primary School

As part of Primary 2’s Under the Sea topic, the girls were tasked with building their own boats for homework and today it was time for their big boat experiment!⛵️🌊✍🏼

First, they spent our morning doing Show and Tell, talking about their boats, what they’re made of, what they’re called and who helped make them.

Second, they made predictions on their own boats and then their friends, on whether or not they would float or sink.

Next, it was time to put them to the test! Results were recorded and they talked about which materials floated best.

We had lots to celebrate last week, with lots of very talented gymnasts, dancers, footballers and MMA girls.

Our Primary 4 students, you have made the entire school community so proud on your very special day.

We would like to thank Fr. Troy, Fr. Cross and Brother Connor for the beautiful service today.

We would also like to thank Paul and all the volunteers at the Houben Centre for their kindness and hospitality to our families.

As our primary 4 children prepare to receive the Sacrament of First Holy Communion today , we want to wish them and their families a day that is filled with joy, peace and love as they take a very special step in their faith journey. We pray God blesses you today and always.

This morning, we celebrated our Primary 1 Buddies. Our parents, and parents from Edenbrooke Primary School joined us for a lovely morning.
