WHEN: Saturday 25 Oct, 1-3PM
WHERE: The Hub, Golden Thread Gallery
There will also be some art activities on offer if you fancy getting creative.
All ages welcome!

My student’s grandad brought in some old gig tickets from shows he’s been to over the years — including Queen for £1! 😲
Can you believe that? You couldn’t even buy a coffee for that these days!
What’s the best (or cheapest!) gig you’ve ever been to?

I had so much fun at my drum circle training. We learned how drumming can help with emotional wellbeing. I've already been incorporating some of the drumming games with my students. They have gone down well!

Meet my youngest (and cutest!) student, Stefan!
We have so much fun in our lessons exploring all the percussion toys — it’s such a joy watching him discover music.
This week, I dusted off my kid-sized drum kit (the one I use for busking), and it’s perfect for him — much easier to reach the bass pedal!

Ruben came to his lesson today and proudly told me he had passed his Grade 5! His stand out piece was 'Hold the line' originally played by the legendary drummer Jeff Pocaro. Good on you Ruben, taking on this song and mastering it shows a lot of skill!!

Well done to my funky student Davin! He achieved the top mark in his year for Music! His grade 4 pieces are sounding nice too. Great player, an honour to teach him.

Karthiks grandparents came all the way from India to Carryduff to listen to him play the drums. He performed his grade 2 pieces and played a blinder. Blew us all way! Go Karthik!
