✨ Model Star ✨

Thank you to Hannah and Louise from QUB who visited Year 8s today as they completed their 3 week Food Nerd’s project.

Students used data on Carbon Footprint, Cropland Use, Nutritional Value and Water Use to design a snack product for a target group. They then presented their design to Louise, a QUB lecturer. The girls were prepared and delivered their presentation with confidence. A fantastic experience!

✨Year 9 Celebration Assembly ✨

On Tuesday, our Year 9s attended their Celebration Assembly to reward students for all their achievements this year. Students received Year 9 Star Badges and certificates were given out for 100% Attendance, Most Improved Attendance and Model Way.

9TM3 received the reward for Most Improved Class Attendance and 9CP received the Best Class Attendance award.

Congratulations to all the winning students and well done Year 9!

What a fantastic day for our 3 Miles for Murray sponsored walk in memory of Mr Murray. The sun came out, lifting everyone’s spirits as students and staff came together to honour someone so special to our school community.

Thank you to everyone who took part and donated — your support means so much and we’re proud to be raising funds for PIPS Su***de Prevention Ireland. Final total to be announced next week!
