Last week, Miss Mackay went on a very special trip to Poland with the British Council. She represented our school and met teachers from Ukraine and across the UK.

Our P6 pupils are going to work with children from Zaruddia Lyceum in Ukraine on an exciting 'Reading and Writing' project. We have already enjoyed reading letters from our Ukrainian friends and were thrilled to receive sweets and flags from them.

We can't wait to learn more about each other and see what amazing work comes from this special friendship and partnership!

At Botanic Primary School, we are proud to be Global Citizens!

We're delighted to be partnering with Duck Donuts NI for our 'Pupil of the Week' prize!

Their voucher programme will help us reward and recognise pupils for a range of achievements, while also giving some families the chance to enjoy a special treat together.

Thanks to the team at Duck Donuts for supporting our school community. 🍩👏

🎭 Exciting things are happening behind the scenes at Botanic Primary School and Nursery Unit!

As part of our new partnership with the The Grand Opera House, Belfast Mrs Harper and Miss Reid recently attended a workshop to begin preparations for what will be our first school show under this exciting collaboration.

The session provided valuable insights, ideas and inspiration as we start planning a wonderful performance opportunity for our pupils. We are delighted to be working alongside the Grand Opera House to bring new creative experiences to our school community.

🌟 Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks. We can't wait to share what we have in store!

🌟 Breakfast with Mr Clarke & our new School Council! 🌟

A lovely opportunity for Mr Clarke to congratulate our newly elected School Councillors and celebrate their new roles. 🏆👏

Over breakfast, the councillors had their first chance to meet with Mr Clarke, get to know one another and begin talking about their important role in representing pupil voice across our school. 🗣️💬

Well done to all of our new councillors, we’re excited to see what you achieve this year! 🌟
