Clonard Youth & Young Adult Ministry | E2T – We Day Out

Today our Youth & Young Adult group headed to Portrush for a brilliant day out with other E2T groups.

The weather certainly wasn’t on our side ☔️, but it didn’t dampen the spirits! We kicked off with a photo scavenger hunt and plenty of fun challenges, followed by lunch from the chippy, games on the beach and a very competitive game of volleyball!

We finished the day at Curry’s Fun Park, enjoying the rides and amusements before heading home to Belfast.

A huge thank you to everyone involved with E2T, Youth Link, the youth providers and partner agencies who helped make today possible. A great day of friendship, fun and connection — despite the weather!

Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Knock.
On 21 August 1879, fifteen people witnessed the silent apparition at Knock of Our Lady, St Joseph and St John the Evangelist, with the Lamb of God upon an altar. Among the witnesses were children and adults, gathered together in prayer in the pouring rain.

We pray:

O God, who give hope to your people in a time of distress,
grant that we who keep the memorial
of the Blessed Virgin, Our Lady of Knock,
may, through her intercession,
be steadfast in faith during our earthly pilgrimage to heaven,
and so come to eternal glory with all the Angels and Saints.

Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
God, for ever and ever.
Amen.

Our Pop-up Pre-Loved School Uniform Hub is open from 9am–1.30pm today.

We have hundreds of primary and post-primary school uniform items - take whatever you need, completely free.

And we have hundreds of free filled pencil cases for children and young people heading back to school in September too. ✏️
