Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary

Today we celebrate Our Lady of the Rosary
Each bead reminds us to slow down, breathe, and find peace in prayer.
Mary walks with us through every joy and struggle, leading us closer to Jesus.

Our Lady of the Rosary, pray for us. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Thanks to everyone who came along to our Walking Group tonight!

It was a lovely, pleasant evening for a walk through Belfast โ€” six kilometres from Clonard, through the city centre and back again. Great conversation, plenty of chat, and a really enjoyable evening together.

We meet every Tuesday at 6:45pm outside Clonard Church, and everyone is welcome to join us.

Today, the Clonard Youth Ministry team began a series of Retreat Days with the Year 10 students from St Louiseโ€™s College.

Clonard and St Louiseโ€™s have shared a long-established relationship stretching back many years, including our valued connection with the Daughters of Charity.

It was a real pleasure to welcome 10A today โ€” a fantastic group who entered wholeheartedly into the Retreat Day and helped make it a very special experience for one another.

We look forward to welcoming the remaining Year 10 classes to Clonard over the coming month.

A great turnout tonight for our Youth & Young Adult Gathering at Clonard!

As we marked the end of the Season of Creation, we reflected on the world in which we live โ€” recognising some of its challenges, but also taking time to appreciate the beauty and wonder of Godโ€™s creation.

Inspired by the late Pope Francis and his powerful message in Laudato Siโ€™, we explored how we can practically live out the call to care for our common home, both individually and together as a group.

We were also encouraged by the words of Pope Leo XIV at the beginning of the Season of Creation:

โ€œAll creation speaks to us of the greatness of its Creator, if only our eyes and hearts remain open to such a great mystery.โ€

A great evening of discussion, reflection and friendship, and wonderful to welcome some new faces.

We now look forward to our next gathering on Monday, when we will travel together to Dundalk to participate in the St Gerard Majella Novena at St Josephโ€™s Redemptorist Church.

Today we celebrate the Feast of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, C.Ss.R.

Born in Germany, Francis followed Godโ€™s call to become a Redemptorist missionary in the United States, serving people with faith, compassion and hope.

His life reminds us to be courageous, to listen for where God is calling us, and to use our gifts in the service of others.

Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos, pray for us.

Good morning - we hope you all have a good week. God Bless ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Season of Creation ๐Ÿ‚๐ŸŒณ๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Today, on the Memorial of St. Francis of Assisi, the Church marks the close of the Season of Creation.
Endings are also new beginnings, and so we asked St. Francis to inspire us to continue caring for our common home.

Pope Francis reminded us in Laudato Siโ€™:

โ€œSt Francis showed us just how inseparable the bond was between concern for nature, justice for the poor, commitment to society, and interior peace.โ€ (LS 10)

Through the intercession of St. Francis, we pray that we might continue his legacy โ€” caring for our beautiful common home through prayer, reflection, and action. ๐ŸŒ
