The Student Council enjoyed a fabulous end of-year treat with a visit to Belfast City Hall. They had the opportunity to explore the many fascinating rooms, try on the councillors' robes and sit in the debating chamber. It was a fantastic experience and a wonderful way to celebrate another very successful year for our Student Council team. Thank you all for your hard work, dedication and commitment throughout the year.

After 32 incredible years at the heart of Braniel, our muchโloved Mrs Baxter will retire at the end of this term. Her kindness, dedication and unwavering care have shaped the lives of countless children and families, and we look forward to giving her the wonderful send off she deserves.

Our Year 7 pupils delivered a fantastic โSplash Royaleโ event today as part of their Young Enterprise project. We all had so much fun, we just might make this an annual event!? ๐ซ๐ง

15 schools headed to Avoniel for Galacticoโs annual tournament. Braniel entered Group 2, emerging as winners after victories over Ballywalter PS & Rathmore PS.
This led to a semi-final clash vs Victoria Park PS. A finely balanced match which ultimately ended in Braniel winning on penalties.
Grange Park PS awaited in the final. A penalty from our captain Robbie was enough to seal the victory and to ensure the trophy was heading home to Ravenswood Park.
The team performed outstandingly throughout the day, not conceding a single goal. More importantly, they showed the meaning of teamwork and graftโฆgiving everything out on the pitch for the badge on their chest.
A proud day for the school and a fourth trophy of the season for this brilliant team. Thank you to all of the organisers at Galactico Soccer for a top day.

We were delighted to take part in the International Day of Play, celebrating the joy and importance of play in children's lives. The day provided lots of fun opportunities for children to learn, explore, and connect with others. The International Day of Play, held on 11 June, highlights every child's right to play and recognises its important role in supporting development and wellbeing.
