Another great morning with The Gathering Drum! Joe’s visit is always a highlight of the nursery year 🪘🪘

We had a special visit from Wee Critters this morning! The boys and girls loved meeting all the creatures and getting up close with them 🐍🕷️
Albie the armadillo was definitely a highlight! Thank you Alan for another great session.

We had a fantastic first session with Coach Ciaran from Sonal Sportz NI this morning! The boys and girls are already excited for next week ⚽️

Today we had a visit from Northern Ireland School of Falconry. John brought five birds for us to see including some owls, a falcon and a hawk.
The children really enjoyed watching the birds fly in our sun room! 🦉

We had great fun yesterday making these Easter Nest cakes 🍫🐥🪺
The children have made some beautiful Easter baskets to transport their treats home in today 💚

This morning the children were very excited to meet some quail chicks!
Rowan’s family recently got some quails eggs and have been keeping them incubated at home. Last week the eggs began to hatch.
The chicks we met today are one week old. They are very small but noisy and they love to jump! Some of them have already started to get their adult feathers.
Thank you to Rowan and his Daddy for bringing them in to show us! 🐣

What a special day! We had Kinedale Donkeys come and visit this morning and the children (and staff!) were beyond excited to spend time with these beautiful animals.
A lovely morning was had by all ❤️🫏

The children have been making ‘cheerio bird feeders’ this morning, this is a tricky job….but everyone worked so hard! We are going to hang them up for the birds in the Spinney next week 🐦‍⬛
