Huge congratulations to Joseph for earning the Gold Water Safety award! Over three intensive months, he has mastered elite skills, including unresponsive swimmer rescues, specialized lifesaving strokes, and deep-water survival while fully clothed. As the peak of the Advanced Water Safety Series, this achievement proves Joseph is now a safe, proficient, and capable lifesaver. Well done!

Congratulations to Vaanya Dhiman - Yr 13 who has just graduated from an IGNITE Leadership Programme.

IGNITE is an innovative joint youth leadership initiative facilitated by Belfast City Airport, in partnership with award-winning film charity Cinemagic, which aims to provide young people from all backgrounds with life-changing opportunities. Launched in 2019 by Senior Vice President of HBO and Game of Thrones creator Jay Roewe, IGNITE inspires participants from secondary schools and higher education colleges across Greater Belfast to develop valuable employability and life skills that will open doors in the future and allow them to gain an NLP Diploma in Personal and Career Development.

Year 8, 9 and 10 DT4 Summer Timetable

After a successful season in the Irish Premier League, former student and teaching assistant, Aidan Steele, has capped it off by being named Young Player of the Year at Carrickfergus Rangers. He adds this latest honour to his County Antrim Shield winners’ medal.

Everyone at Aquinas would like to congratulate Aidan on this fantastic achievement and thoroughly deserved recognition for all the hard work, commitment and performances throughout the season ⚽
