We are absolutely devastated about our wee friend, Ava. We had the honour of looking after Ava for almost seven years, she was deeply loved by us all and her loss will be felt throughout our entire team, past and present. We send our deepest and most heartfelt sympathies to Gary, Danielle, Rhys and all of Ava’s family and friends as they face this unimaginable loss 😢😢

The death has occurred of:

Ava Kane

Kane Ava peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family 29th September 2026. Adored daughter of Gary and Danielle. A devoted sister of Rhys and much loved granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend to so many. R.I.P. Ava will be reposing at her home 5 Meadowhill grange from Friday. Visitors are welcome to call and pay their respects on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12.00noon – 8.00pm and on Monday from 12.00noon – 6.00pm. (House private from 6.00pm on Monday). Ava will then leave on Tuesday at 9.15am to arrive at St Oliver Plunkett Church for 10.00am Requiem Mass followed by a service in Roselawn Crematorium. Deeply regretted by her entire family circle. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu of flowers to The Paediatric Brain Tumour research c/o Healy Brothers Funeral Directors 56 Andersonstown Road Belfast BT11 9AN 028 90309333.

We are delighted to support the Aisling Bursaries in their 29th year and to Ruth who will receive our bursary, as she heads into 4th year at Stranmillis University studying Early Childhood Studies.

To mark the occasion, the guys held a fantastic Charity Ball at the Balmoral in early September — and what made the night even more special was that all donations went to Friends of the Cancer Centre. 🎗️

A fabulous evening for a fabulous cause, supporting a charity that does incredible work for cancer patients and their families across the North
